Comment:

I love Robin! I have taken almost every one of my psych courses at Hamline with her. She is a fair grader and really knows her material. She is organized and so very brilliant. I highly recommend taking a class with her!

Comment:

I have taken both abnormal and disorders with her. You do NOT need to buy the case book that goes along with the textbook if you are buying textbooks on your own. I did not open them more than once. Her class is organized and she is extremely straight forward. I find her funny, but overall she's a really relatable person.

Comment:

Very kind and understanding. Definitely knows her stuff. Found out that I was struggling with life circumstances in her class, created modifications that allowed me to go from a failing grade to an A-. Still checks in with me when she sees me on campus to make sure I'm managing things well. Generally a great person.

Parritz is an okay teacher. I was very excited about the course from day one. Although we had to read a lot of material. Like approximately 2 chapters each out of 4 books. Also, you skip from book to book constantly. Its hard to keep up. She also likes to assign a lot of papers that are not necessary , considering it is not writing intensive.

Dr. Parritz is one of the best professors I've had to date. Very clear in lecture, very open, honest, and caring. I wish she taught more classes!

Professor Parritz is a great professor. She definitely knows what she is talking about and is more than willing to help you, as long as you put forth the effort. She is also a wonderful advisor! She's tough, but she pushes you to learn!

Robin is by far my favorite professor at Hamline so far. She's always prepared for class, and she really knows what she's talking about. She's a great mentor and really wants her students to do well--you just have to put in the effort first.

I wouldn't recommend professor parritz. Her teaching style is boring and she is constantly making sarcastic remarks about nobody doing the homework. I found being in her class irritating and she turned an interesting subject into something I didnt enjoy at all.

Robin is the most amazing professor I have ever had at Hamline. She is clear, precise and incredibly helpful. Her classes are challening but you learn so much. If you are the least bit interested in psychology you need to take a class from her. She is absolutely fabulous!

Great prof - great advisor - great person all around. She is down to earth, honest and reasonable. Her teaching manner is straight forward, you will learn a ton from her and gain a great friend and resource for the future! Take a class from Robin before you graduate!

Great class and great professor. The material is sometimes challenging, but Professor Parritz is extremely helpful. Her lectures and knowledge are wonderful and you will learn a lot from her class. Highly recommended!
