She constantly shows up late and complains about her headache. She also freaks out when anyone asks a question. She is crazy and I would run away if I were you. I am doing good in the class but only because I read and study. However, I waste my time EVERY time I go to class. She is the worst.

Horrible professor. It makes me so mad to be paying all this money for such a waste of time class that I didn't get anything out of. She is always late, very unorganized, not clear about assignments and has favorites. If you are not her favorite, get out!

I really enjoyed this class! Although Dr. Hornak wasn't the most organized, she was really interesting and I feel like I learned a lot in class. Her tests are not difficult if you study the powerpoints and chapter reviews. If you put the least bit of effort into her assignments and throw in some key vocab you'll do well!

Her class is not easy. If you put thought into the papers then you will do good. Her test are challenging. She is very helpful if you ask questions, and will help you out. She does definitely want you to know your stuff though. If you read the chapter and take good notes, you should do fine.

Dr. Hornak is very rude insensitive to her students. She chooses favorites in her class and does not care about the other students. I also have her as an advisor and she is opinionated and unhelpful. I would not ever take one of her classes again or recommended anyone to take one of her classes- even if they were my worst enemy.

It is true that Dr. Hornak does have her favorites. Yet, she does want everyone to understand the material. She is always late and always tries to hold you after class time has expired. She misses a lot due to migranes, so the schedule changes a lot. You can earn a good grade, if you work for one. Not a class for slackers.

DO NOT TAKE HER CLASSES!! She picks favorites, she likes to call attention to student's mistakes, she is unorganized, never prepared for class, usually late for class, no answer is ever good enough for her, she is unclear about directions and scheduling. She makes students feel inadequate in class and gets pissy when people ask questions; not nice

The people that gave this woman a good rating were the favorites. If she is having a good day things are fine, if she's having a bad day she'll take it out on you in the most demeaning way possible. Will do anything to make you appear incompetant infront of the class. It's like she gets off on it. Smart person, horrible god awful professor.

Very nice professor...smart, funny, willing to help if you show that you respect her. Most people who don't like her simply don't respect the class or her teaching. Definately expects students to work hard and think for themselves. If you get to know her, she's a very awesome person.
