Comment:

One of the most interesting, most knowledgeable professors and I loved every minute of her class and wished it would never end. However, it was impossible for me to get a decent grade despite doing my absolute best. Lucky for me, I took the class during a pandemic, and had the opportunity for it to not ruin my near-perfect gpa. Be forewarned.

She took 3 points off my midterm because I wrote "master" instead of "mistress" on an essay question. Her exams seem simple but she honestly grades like she wants you to fail. Her class is really interesting though- take it if you don't care about your gpa.

Reguer isn't as bad as everyone makes her out to be. Her exams are difficult and require a lot of effort, but she can be pretty lenient when grading. Also, she assigns tons of readings but I never did any of them and was still able to do well in the class

Her class was one of the more stressful ones I've taken in Brooklyn College. She assigns a ton of readings and her exams are not easy. She's a very nice person and I did get an A- in the class, but be ready to put in time and effort if you're going to take her.

Amazing & fantastic Professor! You just have to read the texts or else you won't do well in the class. Overall, her lectures are terrific and engaging! One more time though, READ THE TEXTS & you'll do just fine. And do not text or use your phone during her lecture. She will definitely put you on the spot for it!

Professor Reguer is a wounderful teacher and person. I loved her like my mother. I learned a lot not only about the subject that she was teaching but also real life. She is such a caring and very worm person. I would highly recommanded Prof. Reguer.

A GPA murderer!!I walked out of the final expecting an A, I was sorely mistaken, as I received a much lower grade than anticipated.However, Dr Reguer does know her stuff, she is clear and concise, although at times she treats students like they were in fifth grade.If you have any conduct issues, she will embarrass you in front of the whole class.

I loved her at first and I loved the topic except shes a reform jew (even though she denies it). Then she totally screwed the class over with her tests. Shes a TERRIBLE grader. I'm an honor student and she ruined my GPA. Dont fall for her act!!

She is a really great person and makes her topic very interesting. HOWEVER, there is a LOT of reading and (as she will tell you herself) no cutting corners. Her tests and papers are extremely difficult and thorough. If you are looking for a very interesting class and willing to do A LOT of HARD WORK than take her, but its no easy A.
