Honestly, the worst professor I have ever had. He is very hard to understand and chooses to go extremely fast even with his speaking disability. He does not give a good example of what is going to be on the tests and takes away as many points as possible as he can from students. He does not want you to succeed. Don't take this class.

Do not take him if you have the option. Took him for managerial accounting. I'm genuinely pretty interested in it and don't mind doing the work (not a lot) but he makes it difficult to learn, is not very receptive to student feedback, and makes exams that are just too difficult. It's possible to do well in the class, I'm just not a fan.

He is an absolute joke. I took him for Managerial Accounting and got stuck with him through the cohort. I don't blame him for his stutter that makes it hard to learn int the first place, but I do blame him for his grading. Accounting should be black and white but somehow this is the most convoluted class I've ever taken. Must self teach to get A.

Here is a list of things more likely to happen than you passing this class... Rudy has a better chance of starting a football game. The Kardashians have a better chance of never posting obscene images. The Cleveland Cavaliers have a better chance of winning a title without LeBron James... My point? Don't do it.

The worst "professor" I have ever had in my life. Maybe even the world. Horrible. Grading system makes no sense. Believes firmly he puts 110 percent effort in teaching..(no comment). Spiteful. He can't explain anything. Just does problems on the board and expects students to read ahead and know. Don't do it to yourself, you deserve better.

Prof Szilagyi is a really nice guy but the classes are boring. He also expects you to read ahead and gets annoyed when you're not already familiar with the material. Tests are hard but he gives a lot of extra credit. Study hard and you will do fine.

Had him for Man. Acct. this past semester. Personally, I found his teaching style very clear. However, 3/4 of my classmates spent some portion of every class complaining about their grades to him. I would really like to know how many of them bothered to read the textbook though, because I feel it was crucial to my understanding in this class.

It makes me so mad that i pay so much in tuition and that money goes towards paying 'teachers' like this. If your good at accounting or teaching your self and very skilled at occupying yourself while he rambles on you'll do fine. Bottom line, he doesn't teach he downloads the PP from the book which is given to him and reads it to the class.

Bases the entire class off the slides. Hardly every shows you how to calculate problems, assumes you already know. Tests are fair and so is grading. Highly recommend you take the class, just not once a week for 2 hours.

Had him for intermediate 1. He's definitely not easy by any stretch of the word. Tests are very much like the hw problems he assigns but more difficult. 4 quizzes from the chapters which are average difficulty and drops lowest. Allows you to take the lowest question on the test and redo it which is very helpful. Gives extra credit on exam itself.

Your grade is totally dictated by how you study. If you read the book and practice the homework problems you will do well on his exams. There is weekly homework but it's not graded. 4 quizzes, drops the lowest of them..says he doesn't curve but he allows you to redo one question on each test for full credit

Prof Sz is a really great guy. he has heled me more than any other teacher I have had. His tests can be tough but he prepares you well. He made me consider Accounting as my career. only teaches one section per semester so sign up early to get him.

This class was insane. I have never studied so much for a class in my entire life and still walked out of the classroom not knowing what just happened after taking a test. He's a nice guy, though, and I think he does understand what we're going through as accounting majors.

I took him for intermediate 1 and he was okay. His exams and quizzes are difficult and tricky. But if you study the material you will do fine. He curves at the end. This is not an easy class, but if you apply yourself you will receive a good grade.
