Comment:

Had class in Spring 2011. I would try to stay away from him if he teaches in the future. Writes down literally everything he says even if it has nothing to do with the lecture. Had to learn a lot from the book by myself. Homework weekly which isn't that bad if you are able to figure it out. Monotone voice will put you to sleep. Try to stay away.

I've had Dr. Wright for two classes now, and I enjoyed both of them. His notes are thorough and easy to follow. The assignments are straightforward, and the tests are challenging but fair. As a bonus, he's nice, understanding, and pretty funny.

Literally writes down EVERYTHING HE SAYS. Slow-paced teaching, which can be Good: may skip over some materials and not include in test. Bad: may assign homework you have to read on textbook to know how to do. Slack on attendance, but better if you go. Very monotonic voice, though.

i had professor wright for calc2 and i really enjoyed his class. i would frequently go into his office hours and it was very helpful. if you don't understand whats going on, don't hesitate to see him because he's a really nice professor. tests are pretty difficult. just study a lot to be prepared.

A very good professor, but overall a difficult class. He likes his tests and quizzes to be sneaky, so as to see if you truly understand the material. but he's a fair grader and rewards hard work. GO TO CLASS & do the homework.... very dry, subtle humor. i loved it ;) also, office hours are recommended.

He is very monotone. class is very boring, but really go to class because the homework will be hard if you don't. The tests are hard and he doesn't give you any study guide besides what sections it will be on, other than that you're on your own. The quizzes are not too bad if you study. Would not highly recommend him, but if you must, good luck!

Best math teacher i've had. he teaches the material so well, and it's easy to stay away and copy notes. if you go to class, the homework is easy, if you study a little for the quizzes then they're easy too. the tests are hard but if you study, you should get a C or B. and at the end of the year, your grade is higher than you would of thought.

The course work is pretty tough, but his notes are very explicit, and teaches in an understandable fashion. I had this guy after having Dr. Zill, so he seemed like a huge improvement. He is funny and sarcastic. I would take him again.

Mr. Wright's an ****. he's really funny. he gives easy examples for the notes but the homework has hard problems. he has 6 quizzes 2 tests, lots of homework, final, and he doesnt curve. homework is extra credit. his quizzes are okay but his tests are hard...he makes sure you understand the material so his quizzes and tests dont reflect the hwk

Class is not hard. He allows u to turn in the hw until last wk of smestr. He's always avail. to help if u go 2 his office. DO THE HW! If u don't, u'll fail the class. He's better than many of the math professors he actually speaks English, which is a big deal to me. If you want a fair class that will give you the grade you deserve, take him!

Wright is a pretty nice old guy who makes you laugh at him. His lectures are confusing and I felt lost most of the time. Do well on his quizzes cuz they're 60% of your grade. Make sure to go for extra help and if you have a 90% or better in the class, YOU DONT HAVE 2 TAKE THE FINAL! but he doesn't tell you this. I worked my ass off & got a B-

Wright is a complete a&&. He is the only teacher I have ever done bad in math with. His sense of humor is so dull and he could not teach even if his life depended on it. Does not even have a PHD!
