This would be a great class if the material covered in class was what was tested over. She really knows her stuff, but I'm pretty sure she taught middle school prior to college (stickers for good grades and the syllabus was in Comic Sans). Be prepared to do A LOT of work in her class.

She is a great teacher, she helps as much as she can, but still you need to do alot of work to pass this class, although her technique is not bad at all. Highly recommended!

Be prepared to do a lot of work. I mean note cards, questions, videos, journals, handouts... etc. The nice thing is, if you get these all done you should have a good grade, despite tests which are difficult and come from no where. She KNOWS her biology though.

She is teaching with a "group" approach so she doesn't even lecture in class and forces all the material as homework so the class is a complete waste of time if you actually want to learn something - still taking the course and it's the biggest regret of the semester. Still planning on going to the main dean about her teaching methods.

She is a very nice lady! However her test are extremely hard I would recommend get up with someone who has old test because she doesn't change her test very often! Good Luck

Even though Mrs. Liles is a nice person, her teaching is not. The tests were over material not in her notes, her daily quizzes we just wrong, and the class was one I dreaded going to every single day. I guess that sums up how much it sucked.

This woman took a lot of her spare time out to help me on the Polyphenoloxidase paper we had to do. Consequently, I did rather well on it. If you WANT to do well in her class, she WILL make that possible. And as far as the exams go, my suggestion is to PAY ATTENTION during labs!!!

Her exams do not reflect most of the class notes. The average on the exams were in the low 60's. You'd think she would re-evaluate her teaching methods when exam scores are that low.
