Comment:

Professor White obviously loves what he teaches, he just doesn't teach well. He didn't provide rubrics for papers or presentations. He rarely posted instructions for important assignments online. It was almost Like he was trying to make the class hard so people took music seriously. I struggled a lot.

By far the best teacher I have had at DVC. I am about to retake a class of his, 3 years after already receiving an A in it. Why? Because he has so much knowledge that it is impossible to learn everything he has to offer in one semester. His class was the only class I've ever looked forward to going to.

We are extremely lucky to have Tim at DVC. The man is literally a genius. He can without hesitation answer any question you may have, no matter how in depth or obscure. Always patient, always friendly, and ALWAYS helpful. Come to class with a hungry mind and you will never be disappointed. He will take you down the rabbit hole in sound engineering.

Great teacher, very helpful and friendly. I took two of his classes in one semester and was glad I did. I would take him again and recommend him to anyone.

Gives great feedback on projects. Lectures can be a little slow at times, but what he loses in speed he gains in clarity. I started the class having never worked with Reason in my life. Now I know it inside and out, and Aced the midterm and final, studied 30 mins for each. Hardest part of the class was waking up for it. Take it, you'll learn a lot!

this is the best teacher ive had in a long time. he's very thorough in his instructions, so you actually have to take notes, but he is very helpful and knows what he is doing. i can not wait to take his other classes

Takes his audio seriously and his lecture can get very techy filled with audio terminology, but overall his class was okay. Take notes and turn in assignments on time and you're fine. His final is no big deal either. PRO TOOLS IS GREAT!!
