Awesome class! Take if you get the chance! Daily probe questions, every other week quizzes, and a take-home final (a challenging one!) Lots of chances to do well, just keep with reading and lectures

Comment:

He's a cool guy and keeps it pretty interesting. There's a test every 2 weeks and a remedial in the in-between weeks, so there's a lot of chances to save your grade. Class is mandatory because there's a 1-question quiz everyday that there's not a test, but he throws out a lot of extra credit. I'd recommend this class!

Comment:

Dr. Hackenberg is nice and this class is interesting, but definitely not my cup of tea because of the format. There are weekly quizzes that you can take over again if you don't like your first score, but it contains different questions. The final was optionally collaborative and given in advance. You must be willing to study every day.

Comment:

Amazing teacher, great class/students. He's brilliant and leads discussions better than anyone I've seen before. Class was moderately difficult at first, but got a bit easier as time went on. Partially due to the difficulty level of the 3 books he chose to focus on (by Skinner, Harris, and Postman). Extremely recommended!

I LOVED this class! Hackenberg has an incredible mind and is very friendly, a great professor. If you take behavior analysis take it with hack!

Hack is great! This is the second class I've taken with Hack and it was better than I anticipated. Hack is great at selecting interesting and readable texts. There is a quiz every day, but don't let that scare you! As long as you keep up with the readings, the class is an easy A and you learn A LOT. Superb!

I LOVED this class! I learned more in the class than any other classes combined. Be prepared to read A LOT but he breaks it up into units that are pretty manageable. Go to class in this one, because there are attendence points. Also, the final is cumulative but he gives it out ahead of time and it's EASY!

He's a really excellent teacher. Great lecturer and gives you plenty of opportunity to do well in his class. Make sure you attend class, read the notes that he posts, and study the night before each exam and you'll get an A. The only downside is that you HAVE to go to class, but other than that, its great!

Dr. H is a great prof! There are no tests, just unit quizes & if you don't do well on those, then you have an opportunity to take a remedial quiz. And if you do well, then you get that class day off. Keep up w/ the reading & attend class, and you'll be fine! He's a great lecturer and sincerely cares about his students! I HIGHLY recommend taking him

Not as hard as expected. material taught is straightforward. he tells you what it is you need to know and not much more. I genuinely left class feeling like i can apply what i learned. Unfortunately TA does grading (mine was very nice). Remedial quizes so you can take a quiz over again at no cost (no one offers that) Excellent class structure.

If you really like studying and having exams EVERY WEEK then this is the class for you... The exams were graded very subjectivly - two people will have the same response and get different points. The lectures have nothing to do with the exams but you have to show up anyway or you miss points.
