Her class was good. We wrote on various topics, paraphrased a song, watched 2 or 3 movies, very great professor. Always willing to help and clarify anything. Very fair grader, it's italian composition so she'll correct your mistakes and also encourages you to participate. Oh, we had t bring news articles every time, made the class fun!

It's really sad to see Professor Cantelli go! This is her last semester teaching but she was by far one of my favorite professors. Tough but with a very light, cute, bubbly personality. Very intelligent and interesting, I wish her the best of luck

Sorry, but I was not impressed. Could have used class time to teach the lessons and reviewed homework AFTER class. She didn't have office hours and she rarely answered emails--no, I think these native italian professors are only interested in their free degrees; certainly not in their students.

I loved her!!! She has a great personality and is very clear on what you should remember on tests. always do the hw because she always calls on you. unfortunately, she is no longer teaching.

I had her for 2 semesters, and she was one of my favourite professors I've ever had!!! I love how she engages herself when she explains something. I've learned a lot from her class, more than from other italian professors, wish she would teach all italian levels.

theres like a phase u go thru w.her: 1st u feel intimidated, then u feel comfortable & then u just love her! her exams r a bit challenging but u can ask her nething & shell help u. shes excellent! i improved my pronunciation a lot! she xplains things well & luvs when students participate. shes fun to talk to, VERY smart & understanding. Professor Cantelli explains things well. Whatever she teaches is reflected in her exams which are cumulative. She gives a fair amount of homework and goes over the homework in class, she also goes over the exams. I improved my pronunciation in her class and it is unfortunate that she is not teaching 202 this semester. She is great.

Great teacher. Very helpful and explains things well. Teaches in Italian but explains things well enough that you can follow. Her tests are pretty easy except maybe the 2nd. Always do your homework. It helps a lot in the learning process and she doesnt tolerate it either if you are unprepared. Easy A if you do your work and pay attention.

She is a good professor, and if you show interest, she pays you special attention. But often it feels as if you are being interrogated versus just being asked a simple question, and alot of the students are intimidated to answer her questions or volunteer. I'd recommend her only if you really are dedicated to learning Italian.

Cantelli is a little short tempered...so don't come to class without doing your homework...tests are pretty easy (except the 2nd!) ...oh and the best part..when you get really bored at least you have something to look at...she is SOO HOT

Hands down she is the best professor i have ever had... she's smart, funny, and bright.she's singled some people out in class (calling them out to answer questions)when she knows that person regularly doesn't do work.the test are straightforward and if you study, you'll do great... for all my fluent Spanish speakers out there, this is an easy A.

I CAN'T SAY ENOUGHT GOOD THINGS ABOUT HER. AND YES, SHE IS A BIT STRICT AT TIMES BUT AT TIMES WE AS COLLEGE STUDENTS NEED THAT! DO YOUR WORK, WHICH IS ACTUALLY FUN AND U WILL DO GREAT IN HER CLASS. She is a good teacher-but if you don't listen and participate, she will call you out in class. Bulk of grade is test score-hmwk not collected but make sure you do it (see above). She is a bit unstructured it that she does not give out a syllabus-so you get about a weeks notice on exams.

Tough tests...she doesn't do a great job of telling you all that will be on it. She can single people out for undue punishment...harsh words are never far away if you irritate her. But, it is weird, she can be nice too. Doesn't always explain things well. a bit of a disciplinarian.
