Adeline is a very talented individual with years of experience in both life and music. She cares greatly about her students and their welfare. She is very fair when late for lessons by making up the time at a later date or even extending the lesson. She is blunt and very honest but it's one of the best things about her.

Ad is awesome. I used to get offended when she'd tell me things but I know that she's just blunt and that's just how she is. She tells you these things because she cares. She kicks my butt because she knows that's how I progress and get better. She wouldn't if I didn't learn that way. My audition is the reason I'm attending Rowan.

Adeline is easily one of the most talented flutists on the east coast. with that kind of talent you get outside the box thinking and teaching (if Ad started my lesson late, she also ended it late, too - she IS VERY FAIR). Only an intelligent person can truly appreciate how much you can learn about MUSIC (AND FLUTE, too) from Adeline. Thanks Ad.

Comment:

Take this class only if you have a surefire way of transportation. She makes you go to an off-campus flute performance and it may very well be in Philly. There are no exceptions to this rule, trust me. Tough class, biggest thing is fingerings, study them once you get the Rubank book. At times unreasonable and wastes too much class time talking.

I did very well in adeline's flute lessons, but i did not agree with the way she conducted them. I always kept my mouth shut, but now i'm just going to say it like it is. Adeline would chomp on carrots during my lesson-how rude! She would be late all the time and sometimes i would miss my whole lesson.She didn't come to my senior recital.

Ad is NEVER on time for a lesson. 45 minutes would be wasted every week. She never cares enough to show up. And, when she does, she's never paying attention. She's always doing something else like....standing on her desk and hanging pictures in her office.

Adeline is very talented. She cares about her students and wants to see them succed. While she may be demanding, that is what music life is about! Do your**** and dont skimp on practicing because trust me, she knows who practices and who doesnt. She is fair and tons of fun! She is also the reason I cam to this school.

Extremely funny person, and VERY helpful in teaching us how to teach beginning flute players. She is demanding, but is also understanding and wants everyone to succeed. Lateness. Talk to her outside of class and to find out just how funny she can be :)

Adeline is perpetually late for lessons, if she decides to show up at all. She frequently takes "breaks" in the middle of lessons and will return about 20 minutes later. She likes to apply makeup and check e-mail while you're playing. AWFUL P

Adeline is the WOMAN! Very very helpful, friendly, and funny. Gives good advice on life. Awesome flute player. Very opinionated, though.
