Great professor. Clear cut and she remembers her students. I met her in a store and she remembered me. She also have a great book called Gastropolis which I read. Really good book. I got an A in her class. She is a bit of a naturalist which I enjoyed.

I'm surprised so many people didn't like her. She's super nice and easy going, and the class is simple. It's a nice break from regular classes. The material isn't hard at all. You can basically ace the exam just by reviewing your notes once or twice before hand. Definitely recommend her.

She is really GREAT. you have to take good notes but overall the exams are straight forward... study from the notes & you'll do fine. she's very passionate about what she teaches & knows ALOT about it. overall she was one of my favorite professors.

Does not take attendance or participation into consideration at ALL.Interesting class. Always picks up her phone EVERYTIME it rings, in a rush to leave after class.Exams incl 25Q- 4pts each. No extra credit No curve. Class may seem easygoing but take VERY good notes or you can actually do bad exams.Tricky questions, pay attention to EVERy word. Ov

Professor Hauck-Lawson is GREAT! Her exams are fair and basically come from the class notes. If you take good notes you will do well. She is extremely straight forward,and you will know exactly what to expect (no tricks). I never purchased the book and received a B. I highly recommend this prof.
