Take Good Notes for the exam, dont bother to buy the textbooks,you dont need them. He is a nice guy but I wished that he would of gave us a study guide for exams. He barely writes anything on the board nor does he give out sheets to look over. This is a sign of laziness to me.Take him if you must or if you are passionate about Puerto rican studies

He is passionate about Latino studies. He is a good professor. Has one midterm and final with 2 concert reviews, plus 5 points for extra credit if you do an extra review! I wish he gave reviews for exams, but if you take really good notes, you will be fine. I wish I didnt buy the books. You dont really need them! As long as you take good NOTES!

One of the best classes and professors i had at Brooklyn College thus far. Here is a professor that's so passionate and knowledgeable of what he teaches. Yes, he talks a lot and very fast, but he's helpful and make things clear as possible. Just a Midterm, final paper and research report, plus extra credit worth 5 points to your final grade.

Great Prof. His really clear and gives you all the tools to succssed in the class. You have a midterm a short reserch paper and a final pluse he gives you a chance for extra credit. All the exams are based on what he lectures he gives study guides in advaced. Take good notes and you have an A in the class.

Professor Nadal is definately smart and he knows what he's talking about. The class was tough because it required a lot of reading, but Nadal only gives two exams (the midterm and final), and two papers. No homeworks. Attendance is mandatory, however, which can be pretty annoying. He's an easy going guy though. Good man.

Worst teacher ever. There was a sign in sheet so you can get yourself signed in by a friend but he is inconsiderate and talks in spanish all the time. He makes it like his race is more dominant than this country and i think it is a disgrace and for him to be workin in our college is a damn shame...

Horrible professor. He might be nice and all but there are lots of reading to do. The reading does not connect with the lecture. If you are not a good note taker, DO NOT take him. You have to do alots of writing for his class too. 3 essays for his midterm.

This professor is great. He talks a lot but all that he says is so interesting you forget that you are learning! He cracks jokes in class and many times jumps off the subject just to entertain you! His exams, papers are easy as long as you attend the class and pay attention to all he is talking about. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
