Comment:

My worst class of the semester hands down. I dreaded going twice a week, his voice is truly painful to listen to. Difficult tests and demanding group projects. Fill your adderall prescriptions in advance. If possible, do yourself a favor and avoid at all costs.

He only handwrites notes in class & you cant read it because it's all in weird cursive. He gives a lot of papers & a semester-long project with multiple assignments. His tests are HARD!! He also gives quizzes on case studies but he only reviews them AFTER the quiz so he doesnt help u prepare at all. The case study quizzes are really hard, good luck

Comment:

This class is definitely not the easiest nor the most exciting. BUT, I wouldn't have rather taken this class with anyone else! Like others mentioned Axel is not the most energetic but he really means so well! He is so caring in & outside the classroom and so passionate and knowledgable about what he is teaching! Such a great guy, would recommend!

This class is definitely not easy. Axel is not the most energetic of teachers and it is definitely not the most amusing of courses. But he means so well, is a very caring professor & is very helpful in class and out of class. Exams aren't the easiest. But he really will do everything to make sure you succeed. Really good guy

Comment:

Good ol' A-Stock means well, but his accent his hard to understand and he underutilizes modern technology during his lectures. The Marketplace Live simulation stuff can become overbearing at times. Not the greatest class, but not the worst either. No final exam, which makes the workload more bearable.

Very boring lectures. The tests and quizzes are pretty tough, but the project isn't too bad just time consuming. BUT, he told one of my teammates that we gave him a bad peer evaluation bc he is that one kid in the group who does nothing!he didnt believe us why we ALL gave him a bad grade,before the project was even over!.not anonymous

Professor Stock knows what he is talking about and he knows how to teach it. His class is a bit dull but is very beneficial. The marketplace simulation was by far the most interesting part of the course (and the most time consuming). Quizzes and Exams are fair. Pick a good group. Dont take this course if you have a full load on your schedule.

Professor Stock thinks a lot of his class and material. For a 3 credit class he is overbearing in workload. The marketplace simulation in interesting, but on top of quizzes, exams, memo and a 15 page report, he will monopolize your attention if you want to do well. Class can be so boring.

Great teacher if you want to learn and prepare yourself for the next level in life. If you want to slack off and are only here to get a piece of paper (your degree) then he's not for you. Pick your groups wisely! Attendance, participation, and detailed notes are a must. He was always prompt and thorough any time I needed help understanding concepts

Way too much work for a grad course. Writing papers every week, and not enough time. Very specific in what needs to be done. Not very confident in his knowledge. Nice, and willing to help, but not sure many times. MARKSTRAT - similation, fun and easy. 5 cases, midterm, MARKSTRAT, 2 reports, presentation, no final. Easy, but tons of work.

6 case studies throughout semester are really easy. Just read them and you will do fine on the quizzes. Just one midterm that also isn't bad as long as you study. The marketplace project is the majority of your grade and decisions and short 2-page paper due every week. Very simple and not as time consuming as other people are saying. And We won!!

Very fair professor. Tries to help as much as possible, but there is quite a bit of work in his class. Every class we had a quiz or paper to turn in. The simulation was very tedious and time consuming as well. But if you go to class, pay attention, and read the required cases, you should get an A.

Has to be one of the worse teachers I have ever had. The class is incredibly boring. Attendance is mandatory, he gives quizzes EVERY SINGLE TIME, he is an unfair grader. If you don't talk every time in class then you will lose participation points. His accent is ridiculously hard to understand. DO NOT TAKE HIM!

Very time consuming class and lots of group work. He does also require attendence and gives you class participation points. Midterm is also difficult. Not an easy class if you don't like group work, but the professor is very understanding and helpful.

Lectures are very boring. Grades on participation. Midterm is hard. Be sure to get a good team for the marketplace. There is a lot of work involved with the marketplace. Case studies are very boring. Boring class. Make sure you have a good team for the marketplace simulation, because if you don't win the game, it will be reflected on your grade. The cases are horrible, and overall lectures are extremely boring. He does help outside of class if needed. Gives curves. Midterm is hard. Not a bad grader. Stock is a very good teacher. IF you go to class and PAY ATTENTION it is cakewalk. The marketplace simulationis very useful. I feel like i learned A LOT from it. But then again, my team used it is a tool, and tried to learn from it. In the end we won our game in a land slide because we spent time on it. Take Stock, pay attention and TRY on the game
