Great professor! gives you alot of time for your essays and quizzes. super easy. Answers for the quiz can be found online. Easy grader! Book needed. As long as you do everything on time you will pass.

Comment:

I enjoyed this online history class and learned a lot by the end of it. There is a good deal of reading (from the text) and a novel (Uncle Tom's Cabin) but you can get by by just skimming the text. The professor gives great feedback and is very organized. Would definitely recommend!

She gives u too much to read. Her lectures are very long. Answers to quizzes can be found online. I never read the over 300 pg book for the 4-5 pg that she assign. Go to sparknotes read the Summary.U have to remember all 16 chptS For the final which is 50 questions

Took the online courses. All quiz questions r found on the internet And you get 2 tries. There's a 700 word post and a 400 word reply every week, super easy just quote a couple sentence from each of the "required" reading and ur essay will just be maybe 200 words. I never opened the textbook or listend to her lectures still got an 95 !!

I suggest that you DO NOT take this course. The professor expects way too much work for just a gen ed. She grades harshly on assignments even though she has no idea how long and hard you've worked on them. TOO MUCH reading and is VERY time consuming. A few chapters a week, additional documents and reading a novel on the side. Lectures are 2 hours

I am not a history fan so I decided to take this online class. It wasn't the easiest class but as long you do all the work you should be fine. The midterm and final are multiple choice online. There is one paper and online posts due weekly. There is extra credit which is easy and helps your midterm and final grade.

I took the online course. Pretty easy. Post on blackboard due every week. 2 books to read with a paper each. Midterm and final multiple choice online, timed. I thought it was a little difficult, so reading is a must. She grades a little hard on blackboard discussions. For an online course, a bit of work, but it's better than going to class.

The summer class was 10 wks & each class was almost 4 hours long. This was a relatively easy class but at 8am on Saturday, it can be hard to focus. She talks the entire time but doesn't mind interuptions. She uses the web a lot & gets distracted with links. Do the assignments & read & you'll do fine. All things considered, I actually enjoyed it.

She seems to know the subject well but doesn't know how to teach it. She talks non-stop with very little student interaction which makes the class very boring. She also showed a History Channel program and a movie that can easily be rented and watched at home without having to pay for credits to do so.

Very nice lady, but to be completely honest it is painful to sit through the whole class. She doesn't write anything on the board which leaves the student wondering what she is trying to emphasize. Her lectures are all over the place and she does seem very nervous and almost depressed while teaching. Extremely boring, wouldn't take her again.

she really knows her stuff but she's incredibly boring... she pretty much talks non-stop the whole way through. but its not that hard to get a good grade if you read the textbook and do the assignments.... and i handed all the homework assignments in late and i still got a good grade

Clearly knows her stuff but rambles a bit. Sometimes hard to keep focus in her class, but she tells you what is on the tests and you can get an A without too much effort. One paper, a midterm, a final, and no homework outside of assigned reading.

Very knowledgable professor. You will learn if you put some effort into the readings. I read some of the other reviews and they must be by "brain dead" students? What the heck are they expecting...a romper room setup. This is college, so get your heads out of your asses and take some initiative!
