Avoid taking him if you can. You will learn absolutely nothing in his class and have no idea where you stand in the class. He does curve but he does not curve until the end of the semester so you have no idea what grade you'll get until you see your grade posted on self-service.

The most boring class I've ever sat through in my entire life. Take a different teacher if possible because you will be bored out of your mind. Will never let you out a second early. Easy hw, two midterms and a final, just reads textbook provided powerpoint. no real teaching going on in class so you won't learn anything unless you teach yourself.

Worst prof I ever had, took the same class in HS and got an A, took it with Bas and got a B+, don't know how that's possible. His teaching method is terrible, his PowerPoints are most likely illegal because they're 'basically' the tb. Can't understand him, sometimes I question if he knows what he's talking about. Doesn't email back, Try to avoid!

What is this guy doing teaching a business core class?! He needs to stay in higher level classes so ACCT majors will be tortured, not the whole school of business. Half of his lectures come out as gibberish. "generally speaking" is his favorite saying and thats also how clear his tests are. Generally speaking... AVOID IF AT ALL POSSIBLE!

HE IS BEAUTIFUL... class is boring but all you do is practice problems. make sure you read textbook chapters for multiple choice and hand in all your homeworks (doesnt matter if they are late).. tests are tricky but it really isnt that hard of a class better than GOMA GOMA and his accent is great. generallyyyy speakinggg, take this class

All he does is problems during class. EXTREMELY boring. The tests are on the problems but you'll need to have them completely memorized for the tests since you will not be able to have a total understanding of the material since he goes over a topic once. If you have a photographic memory you'll do well on the tests, if not, hope for a curve.

Real bad teacher, he is just so boring, he gets tuck in every word. all he says is generally speaking, honestly i dont know why he is teaching.. no 1 in the class understood he would end up curing the grade.. Avoid him, unless u want to be bored to death

ok guy. teaches right from the textbook, which is a good thing because it's sometimes difficult to understand you need to go back and teach yourself. tests are difficult-- but if you actually take the time to study you'll be fine. he curves at the end. he's very veryboring but if you pay attention, do homework, and study for tests you'll be fine.

hes a teacher that takes awhile to truly appreciate. there is a decent amount of hw, but if u have friends in the class u can just rotate whos turn it is to do the hw. then for the exams if u study for an hour or 2 the night before this class can be a breeze. curves at the end too

Very nice man in general but he can not teach an american college class to save his life. his english is terrible. he rambles. his tests are very hard bc he doesn't tell you what to study accept everything. i took him twice and got a c+ and a b- not bad if u ask me. adorable and all but i wouldn't do it again if i had the choice!

Nice guy, hard to understand sometimes. Class is boring and you get homework from the text almost every class but he does an example problem thats pretty much exactly the same. Tests are pretty easy and he goes over everything on the test before hand. he always takes attendance but hes worth taking

Dr. Basoglu is certainly not a bad guy or a particularly hard grader, but his class is boring as sin. Don't make the same mistake I made and wait until 7:30 am to register for your classes instead of the 6 am start time. I have a feeling that's how most people wound up in his class!
