Dr. House-Soremekun was an awesome instructor during her time at KSU. She made us work for our grade and demanded the best out of each student. Something most professors today do not require. The woman knows her stuff.

This class is Intro to African Studies. I'm currently in class and this class is boring beyond belief ! Bessie speaks in a monotone voice , shows no enthusiasm when she teaches, and repeats previous lectures. I have a newsflash for her: we're in college for Christ sake! We don't need the same thing repeated over and over.

I'm on the fence. I don't believe she is as bad as some people have painted her here, but she isn't good either. I guess a very nice and caring women who really wants to teach well, but just doesnt have the knack for it. But, as long as you can write 12 pages like a college student should, the class is simple and I didnt even go much and got an A

Dr. House? where did she buy her Doctorate she is terrible, I had Deeznuts! grade school teachers with better analyses, also who repeats the last half of a previous lecture in for the first half of the next class? Oh my, how crazy. I wish that I could have tested out of this one, I slept or just plain played games or worst hookey. No to Dr. House!

She is the WORST professor I have EVER had/seen/heard of! She would "review" (ie. repeat the very first lecture) for the first 2/3rds of class each day and treated me like I was scum when I went to the required office appointment with her. STAY

Got her degree from a vending machine. All she talked about was her books, her husband the gyno, and her dog. Repeats lectures and catch phrases over and over and over. Expects outrageously long paper. Relatively easy grader though.
