Comment:

This man is brain waves ahead of everyone else. If you're looking for a cut and dry class, you won't find it here. Anything he teaches will be very intellectually demanding. His grading is a little ambiguous, but I think I got what my performance deserved. Highly recommend. Having a teacher like this is critical to your college experience.

Comment:

Videos are long and boring. Almost done w/ course with just one grade (an auto-graded quiz) from a dozen submitted assignments. Communications and lecture materials have obvious misspellings and confusing grammar. Writing prompts are lazy and thoughtless. Materials/submissions confusingly organized as we submit to Wordpress and Canvas -- why?

As other students have mentioned he gives no insight into how you are graded. He assigns massive amounts of work and doesn't grade anything until the very end. His communication is very slow if at all. He does seem knowledgeable with the material but his teaching/grading method is the worse I have ever had.

Pretty much no communication except with assignments. You have no idea what your getting with some parts of the grade. No expectations or explanation for why points were taken off on assignments. You have to read pointless things for the class. Got a "B" and was not sure how so its not hard to get a good grade but there are better options than him

DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS He is unclear about his grading methods, he does not post any of your grades at all throughout the semester, he takes over a month to grade, he is a harsh grader. I am a student that recieves high marks on every paper I've written and as a senior at rider he has given me the lowest grades with no rubrics to follow.

Easy professor for a required class, he asks easy ?'s for responses online. He gives alot of reading, but I took him for summer that may be why. Doesnt answer emails, u have no idea what grade u are getting in the class, grading policy is goofy.

Barely makes you attend class, if your looking for an easy grade take him, hes the laziest professor ever cancels class all the time and really doesnt give you much work other then some papers that you have no direction on

Great class. More of a weekly discussion on Globalization and Technology. NO TEXTBOOK!! Lots of reading, video reviews and a group paper. If you want to participate and are not afraid to express your thoughts, this class is for you!!

Class can be really boring, a LOT of groupwork but it's super easy. No real homework besides reading an article here or there. Loves class participation. Easy professor to take for a required class.

Dr. Matthew offered the most intellectually demanding course I've taken at Rider so far. What you'll get out of his course depends on how much effort you put into it, and he encourages class participation. His lectures are interesting. His test was fair. And class always ends early (if that's important to you)

Biju is such a NICE guy! He is a bit difficult to understand, but the classwork is not hard at all! I would definately recommend him, because it is mostly group discussions and group projects = easy A
