I had to read through the book and work out the examples to teach myself. Although, the homework and tests are not always like the examples. Homework(8) was 10% of the course, and Tests(4) were 70% of the course. The final was 20% of my final grade.

Mr. White was very nice and lenient. There are 3 exams and 1 final cumulative exam. If you pay attention in class and take notes all will be well. Just ask if you don't understand. He's helpful as long as you ask questions.

I LOVE math but I hated his class, I never made lower than a B.The only thing we did was take notes, and for math that is NOT helpful at all. He's willing to help but when I went to his office hours he only gave me pages out of the book that would help me. He didnt actually work problems with me. It was a OK class, I will never take him again.

I took the class in class not online and it was great. Class is boring consist of notes but what class isn't. He is more than willing to help you in anyway possible. Very interactive always checks his email and keeps you aware of whats going on. I had to miss tons of class and he helped me catch up. Studyguides, easy quizzes, short exams

Online class is rediculous! Material given is not enough to answer problems. He may be s good professor in class but outside of class he sucks at it. Answers on hwk are extremely broad. As well as questions. He's a good guy but don't let "elementary" stats fool you when finding an elective. Thought I'd get an easy A!

I hated this class!! Teacher is super nice & has a great sense of humor, but it's like he is just teaching to himself. He understands the material and moves at a far too fast paced speed to even comprehend what he is teaching. I am an A-B student and I failed this class. Take another teacher!!

Great Professor. This is my second time I have had him, but in a different class, and he is still as good as the first time I had him. Class is easy, and he posts notes to Blackboard, which is a plus for students who either miss class or don't take notes.

Very nice and easy to understand. Sometimes people think he moves too fast but I don't. Tests are just like the homework so if you understand the homework you will do fine. Grades promtly. Really enjoyed his class.

Good sense of humor! Great personality, he is a very nice guy! Material is difficult, but he is a great teacher and is willing to help you outside of class if you ask. I would recommend him to anyone taking statistics at upstate.

Dr. White is super helpful. I had to drop his internet Stats course, but took the class with him over Maymester and can't complain at all. He teaches very well, and is understandable, even if you don't like math. Take him!
