It was a great experience. I was terrified that would not be able to learn on line. Professor Burke allowed us to retake exams that we failed and gave a lot of reviews. Professor Burke's lectures were memorable and thought provoking. His life experience is amazing.

This Professor was incredible. He did everything in his power to have the class understand the material. He knows everything, which gives you the security that your learning from the best. He prepares you well for exams and takes the time with students in private to help you. I would take this Professor again if i could. Thank you Professor Burke

Prof: Burke is so nice and respect to students, and attendance is not mandatory. He gives us opportunities to pass exam. We took 3 exam including final and one paper. You never regret to choose him for you sociology 100.

A really humane professor; very respectful towards his students and puts in a lot of effort to make class engaging. Has a lot of real world experience that he draws on in lecture which makes the topics even more interesting and relevant. Also very easy to approach if you need anything, can't make a class, or have questions about the assignments.

great professor 100% recommend taking his class. lectures are interesting and easy to follow if you pay attention. he gives lots of oppurtunites to improve your grade and as long as you study and put effort in you should enjoy this class.

Professor Burke is one of the best professor that I have had he knows what he is teaching, is also very respectful and caring toward his students. Also gives second chances and retakes , besides that he has a clear grading criteria and rules, attendance is not mandatory and you get 3 tests and a paper easy A with an awesome teacher.

Professor Burke is an awesome instructor. He teaches his classes from online power points, and he gives us copies of it to study from. He's lean-int if you did poorly on one of his exams; he is willing to allow you to take a retake/ or do extra credit work for it

Since I been at this school, I have yet to meet a professor who will give his students a retake on any exam they fail. I have never met any professor that will provide his students with extra help and reviews. but he has rules and you must respect his class.

The tests are so hard, he says bc you need to think critically. Buy the textbook, he does give out handouts but he misses someting. He takes off points if you're late, absent or using your phone. His lectures are just reading off the handout he gives, he talks a lot about his life it's annoying, kinda funny but NOT a good professor

Hands down, the best lecturer in the world. I was extremely sick during the semester and had to miss a class, and I was SO upset because I was going to miss one of Burke's lectures. He doesn't just educate you in sociology; he educates you on LIFE! What prof. makes you wish the class was twice as long? Taking his Criminal Justice class next sem!

Funny and interesting class, it is VERY important that you study if you want to pass, He doesn't give out HW. Your exam grades are what counts. He gives you chances to retake exams. I passed and didn't buy the textbook, he does hand out copies from the book. I enjoyed classes most of the time and would take another class of his! I give him 4.5/5

I absolutely love Burke! He is super clear and his lectures r amazing and very inspiring! After each class I felt like I just watched a movie. Seriously! His experience and intelligence together make him one of the best brilliant professors I've ever had. Take him! But remember, he is strict! But this is CRJ so you have to take it seriously

I took Professor Burke for Criminology. He's an amazing professor, very helping and makes his lectures very understandable. I really am glad I took this class and if you must take him believe me you won't regret it!
