This teacher is challenging, but he helps you as much as he can. He hates tardiness so BE ON TIME! And I'm glad I took him because he honestly did help break some bad habits I had in communication (like being a fast talker). I recommend him.He can be tough sometimes, but he cares.

His teaching methods are good you actually learn. Only two papers for the entire semester no test, written midterm nor final and gives options of revision. I really learned in the class highly recommend him!

He is a blunt. Other professors are worse, his honesty should be taken with a grain of salt. It's for your benefit in the end. No tests. No quizzes. Performances, attendance and a few short papers. I would take his class again!

Saying he is bad is a understatement. He is so hard, I barely passed. I am a A student, so the difficulty I had with this professor emphasizes the struggle you will ensure just to achieve a decent grade in this class. I would tell everybody not to take him and try your luck with another professor.

I read these reviews before taking this class & everybody was wrong. He is not easy, not even close. He expects so much from what should be a fun, easy class. I got a B- and that is only because I worked really hard. I would recommend that you take someone else & if not take this class another semester. If you cannot, then I wish you goood luck.

He is very clear on what he expects from you. Get all A's on your speeches, have perfect attendance, and you will be exempt from the final. If you follow his guidelines and include everything he wants in your speeches... then you will do fine. I recommend taking him!

He's a great professor, and explains what he wants very clearly. Never be absent or late since that will hurt your final grade. If you are running an A in the class, you are exempt from the final. I highly recommend him!

Take Classics instead, if you can. If you're a shy person, this is not the class for you! It's more like an acting class. He grades papers/assignments very harshly. He isn't as nice as you would expect someone in this field to be. I mean, he's basically teaching us how to entertain children...can't be cold for that!

Nice teacher. Pretty easy class. If you delivered well your speeches and you weren't absent more than 2 times, you'll get a good grade. Don't be late to his classes, he doesn't like that AT ALL and this will KILL your grade.

This was basically an acting class. You pick a selection from a text and you perform it in front of the class. I hated it at first, but it helped me overcome talking in front of crowds.

This was an awesome class. I agree that he is egotistical - however if you go to his office he will help you and if you put the work in you WILL get an A. I found him to be very condescending & at times unfair, but like I said if you put in the work it will help you in the end. Ignore his mean little comments - don't let him get to you. I got an A.

he is a great professor. he explains everything at the begining of class and expects people to follow. DON'T BE LATE TO HIS CLASS it will hurt you. he does collect late work but he deducts points and at the end he gives a chance to redo one of your worst preformance. practice befor you preform and you will do great.

This man is good at what he does, but he is not fair in grading. Many students agree that he does not hold everyone to the same standards and is extremely critical to some, while easier on others. Professor Flickstein should evaluate himself as a teacher for he is unjust and egotistical.

Be prepared. Always on time, hand in assignments on time and be prepared. Very meticulous but in a good way. He has low tolerance for mispronounciations and tardiness. If you have a speech, prepare infornt of a mirror or him. No tests/finals. Just course work and no text required. Be on Time!!!! Be strong to take criticism.

This professor is scary at first. He is very strict when it comes to time. If your class starts at 9:25am be there at 9:25am. If not, you will be penalized. Other than that he is a great professer. Do what he tells you to do & have your sources for each speech. Be on time & if you get A's on all your papers he will exempt you from the final.

hes a great professor, he knows how to teach and even though he is tough, hes tough in a good way. If you give your speech the way he wants them done, you wont have any problems. Include everything he asks for, and always bring in sources. Theres one exam, which is the final, and he gives all the answers before the exam!
