Professor Burton, can be confusing sometimes. I agree she will definitely confuse you with a ton of articles and at the end you won't know what are they for. Prepare to do some group project and hope to get people who are willing to do their part if not you might end up with a bad grade which could hurt your grade.

Even though I didn't got a bad grade I would not recommend her. When lecturing and leaving assignments were really confusing. So many of the students had to help one another because the professor wasn't clear. She will blast your canvas with so many articles. Then she leaves a Group project and a paperwork that requires to do observation to a child

Darlene is an amazing professor! Show up to class, participate, DO YOUR WORK and you're golden. Group project is tremendously easy as long as you follow guidelines. Everything you need is on the power points she discusses in class. If she taught every single course in child education I would take her for ALL.

Mrs. Burton is genuine, cares about her students, and is an expert in the field of child development. I enjoyed listening to her talk about ANYTHING, because she knows her stuff. She does go off topic often, but the information she starts talking about is very relevant and much more useful than whatever you started talking about prior. Fantastic!

She is an awesome teacher! Easy work, didnt even buy the book for the class and passed with an A! Quizzes are only 5 questions and you get to use a cheat sheet on a 3x5 card! I highly recommend this class!
