i think this was by far my favorite teacher that i had this semester! she was very nice and always willing to help. this class is very easy if you know the basic power point,word,excel and so on. she gave us a TON of ways to get extra credit. so i don't really see how you could fail unless you really did nothing or didn't show up.

Comment:

Lack communication, response by email is often long. If you turn in something late do not expect to have your grade up to date till the very end of the course. Very strict on her policies. Lots of HW, make sure to manage time. She does go over an example of the HW in class. Test over every section, plus 5 exams, and offers extra credit.

Comment:

By far this was the best experience I've ever had with a professor while taking an online class. The material was not easy for me, but Ms. Aungst was so encouraging and helpful. Don't let the 7-point grading scale for this class scare you, just follow Ms. Aungst's guide for completing the paths (to the letter) and you will learn and perform well.

Comment:

I have had this instructor for two courses, Introduction to Computer Science and also Customer Service. She is great about flexibility because she really cares that you learns the material. In fact, that is her HIGHEST priority!

I took this course online, expect A LOT of work on campus and online. The material was not difficult, as long as you do the SAM training, that will help dramatically for the related assignments. It took roughly 5-6 days for an e-mail response. Very fair grader, but beware of the grading scale for this course, it is unlike the "normal" grading scale

Took internet class, so I pretty much just followed the syllabus and was self taught. If you work ahead in this class, expect to wait a while to see your grades get posted. The midterm & final were not relevant to understanding keyboarding, however, the online website used in this class was really easy to follow & understand. Would take her again.

Delena was always there to answer any questions that I had. I did work ahead with this class. I had experience with Office from before. I did learn quite a lot because of this course. I would take another class from this professor.

The program used in class has a lot of problems which led to me failing the class and she was of no help AT ALL. Over all it was a horrible class and I NEVER want to take another class with her. I emailed her asking for help at the beginning of the semester and it took her until the last two weeks of class just to tell me to call the help desk!

This class was extremely easy. There wasnt much to read of a textbook, which I love! You watch short information videos for learning (but they weren't boring). She gives plenty of chances to earn extra credit, which I ended up with over 100%.
