DO NOT TAKE HER CLASS. Literally the worst possible math teacher Ive ever had. she does not know how to teach AT ALL!!!! She was teaching us and by the time she solved the problem she realized her answer was wrong. If the class is confused and isnt understanding the material shell treat them as if theyre stupid and wont help them at all.

Very very very nice professor but unfortunately she didn't really know the material she was teaching or how to present it in a clear manner. If you're able to teach yourself the math it's an easy A, otherwise you're doomed.

thought i would have gotten a better grade. how the hell do i get the same grade as those kids who got way way way worse than me. she doesnt fail kids thats why. if i got a c minus, than those kids should have gotten a d or failed. i at least passed half of all the tests she gave. i dont understand. really messed up my gpa. BUT shes nice and sweet

She's nice. Her lectures are pretty explanatory even though she has a heavy accent. She always please people to pay attention to class and really put effort on it. She's not a tough grader. She never check your assignment, but you have to do it for passing the final and tests. She really cares about her students. So, take her. Think about it.

She is actually really good. She has an accent that takes getting used to but she's a good explainer and she answers every question you have. She gives HW every night like every math teacher but doesn't check it. She gave 3 of her own tests and dropped the lowest grade. Then there's a department final. Participate and she'll like you and help you.

Professor Desai is amazing. I was worried when i first read her feedback on ratemyprofessors but i realized i was panicking for no reason. She is very straight forward. Do the homework participate and she will appreciate you. If you are lazy and don't do the homework you will fail. Im beginning to think the bad reviews were from the lazy students.

Doesn't like when students question her and thinks her way is always right. Easy A class bc u learn everything u would in elementary school (Factoring, Simplifying, GCF, LCM, etc.) Her tests are hand written, u have to show ur work step by step using HER method, no calculators. Takes attendance and gives HW.

Prof. Desai is a nice and kind teacher. I was in her summer session and I found her very informative. Her class is very easy and she is a very fair grader. She doesn't check the homework but a lot of her tests are based off the work. It's very difficult to fail this class. When uncertain one could go to her after class and ask questions.

Professor Desai is such a nice professor and people tend to take advantage of that. Honestly I though the class was easy because she explained well and even though the summer was short I learned alot from her that would prepare me for further math classes. I wished she teaches pre calc too so i can take more math classes from her.

Great teacher. The class was easy. Took it as a summer course, it was a piece of cake. She is really helpful and explains the material well. I would recommend taking her classes!

Prof. Desai is a very smart women. I came back to college after 15 years and math is not my best strength. She helped me understand every single point from math 115 and 122. Even she was busy answering other students questions she was very patience teaching me. Without her I could fail both classes.SHE IS THE BEST, I HIGHLY RECONMEND HER!

Very easy class, haven't taken math in years very easy material, she explains it relatively well. Homework everyday but for your benefit she does not grade it. 3 tests you can drop the lowest score + a cumulative final given out by the department. I would highly recommend this class if you need to take it should be an easy A

She's a GREAT teacher. IDK why you all don't like her. We had 3 tests plus 1 final. She always reviews b4 tests, give hw everyday but doesn't check it, but does go over it. She's clear, although sometimes people didn't get the accent but I loved her class, and got an A+ and I'm a weak math student, so she's awesome. TAKE HER CLASS!

I dont know what all these negative ratings are about! I got an A+ and I am no math genius. She gives great reviews and explains everything thoroughly. Just go to class, listen, do some HW (she doesn't check it it's for your benefit), review before the tests and you should do fine! She's a nice lady.

She seems to not like her chosen career. This is most evident in her displayed negative attitude whenever a student has a question. She gives handwritten test that are often not very eligible and so result in mistakes made and a lower grade. She is indifferent to feedback, just doesnt seem to care very much.

reject any negative comments about Desai. She is a very smart women. I missed a few classes, did some homework and received an A for the class. You dont have to be a math wiz, as a matter of fact math is my weakest subject. If you do the homework you will surely pass the test because the homework problems are more difficult.
