He is a great professor and makes the class a lot of fun. However, you really do need to read the chapters assigned to you if you want to pass the class. His exams are a difficult, if you don't read the book. He uses a point system for your grade so make sure you do well on the exams because those are a big chunk of your scoring.

Callen's class is no doubt an interesting class. You learn many things! His tests are difficult BUT if you read the book like you're supposed (making careful notes on anything in bold), then you will get your A. He plays the point system so you can keep track of your grade yourself.

He is a very fun and enthusiastic teacher. you can tell he likes to teach. He doesnt really talk much outta class tho. too busy. And his quizzes are rather challenging if you dont read the book. Reading the book is crucial before quizzes. Exams are soso. Good teacher overall.

This class itself wasn't too difficult, I didn't study for a single test and would've ended up with a B but I didn't realize attendance counted towards the final grade... so I got a C+ in an easy course .. sigh. Callen is ok, he just doesn't have time for you that's my only complaint.

Very enthusiastic about what he does. He is fairly tough when it comes to quizzes (doesn't let you retake them) and his tests are a bit challenging. Read the textbook before taking tests or quizzes and you'll do fine. He's tough but fair, if you make an effort to do well in his class he'll help you.

Callen is a great prof. I love his class! He has alot of energy and enjoys teaching. He uses the point system instead of weighing grades so that's always good..because he offers a lot of ways to get extra points. Great professor take him!

Callen is very enthusiastic and entertaining. He's got a good sense of humor. However, this class is NOT an easy A as someone said. The book isn't used in class, but questions from the text pop up in weekly quizzes. It can be tricky if you're not reading on your own.

Very good professor!!! Study hard for those test because they are hard. He always tries to make his classes fun by making little jokes. Sometimes they are stupid but you will have to laugh because he is so crazy. Definitely take him if you want your class to be fun!!!!!
