I hated this class!! I'm a good student and work hard, this class was so unorganized. The notes don't match up with the chapters in the book. The calendar is a joke, no organization!! Quizes and tests on the weekends. You never know when tests, quizzes and other assignments are due because there is no set schedule. Most confusing class I've taken!

Good teacher, I agree that his teaching technique changes and is not consistent. However he tells you exactly what he expects of you ahead of time. Over all it?s an easy A.

His tests and quizzes SEEM simple but in fact the questions and answers are ambiguous. At times he takes questions verbatim from the notes and other times he "makes up" trick questions from his head. [NOTE: ALWAYS a BAD IDEA for INSTRUCTORS to MAKE UP T/F questions IN THEIR HEADS--we students are not mind readers!] Inconsistent methods.

Prof Rizk is a great teacher.He takes time out to get to know his students. He knows a great deal on the subject and will work with you. I am not a big science fan and took this class because it was an overview of science.For every exam we were given a review atleast 1 week prior.Almost everything is worked on in a group.Great guy

I had to drop this class because it didn't seem worthwhile. The teacher seemed tired and bored, even a little annoyed at something. I'm not a science person, so I need someone who is really excited about science. I wouldn't recommend his classes to anyone.

He expects you to read your notes before you come to class !! Show him that you are interested in what is going on in class. Offer answers and ask questions, and you will be ahead of the game. He graded EVERYTHING. Notes, homework, labs, etc. You do have to pay attention to understand his accent, but once you get the hang of it, it's really o.k.

Very nice guy, keeps lectures short and simple, lets class out early. I would read or skim notes from his web site before class, he likes class participation. Tests come from online notes and lectures, no need to buy book, an easy A if you go to class and read the online notes.

Hmm.. one of those classes thats so easy you stop caring and thats when you could lose your good grade. Hes a nice prof, sometimes hard to understand his accent, but just print the notes offline, highlight what he says in class, and youll be set. Just dont give up, def reccomd as a GPA/hours booster

Nice guy... knows what he's talking about and explains it nicely. Good examples, easy to follow. Copy the notes, they are a life saver! Go to class, he takes attendance... read over your notes and you'll be fine. Good class to take in a busy semester.
