Dr. Frisch is one of the best professors I had at Chapman. His lectures are all over the place & he expects that you are reading in advance of class, which makes them much more helpful in guiding areas of study concentration. Focus on understanding concepts, not memorizing! He wants you to succeed so show you care! Don't be a stranger to him!

No assignments aside from tests and quizzes. Personally I thought his lectures were all over the place and I did not learn from them. I still went, but I mostly taught myself outside of class using the textbook and SI sessions. While some test questions definitely make you think, they are fair. He doesn't try to trick you. Study the textbook.

This professor is really all over the place so I became really dependent on the textbook. His lectures are powerpoints which are composed of merely words and pictures from the textbook. His handwriting is hard to read and he gets side tracked very easily. He is a kind and funny professor, but you have to self study to get a good grade.

Frank Frisch is one of the worse teachers I've ever had. He may be a "experienced teacher" but because of that he decides that he knows the only way to teach which is so bad. his lectures are extremely unorganized, he is technologically retarded, and not a good professor at all overall. It's unfortunate he the only option for physio A but he SUCK

Frank is an amazing person, but can be very scattered during lecture. You have to put work into the course and show up for class. He is not super clear on what material he wants you to know, but the SI is super helpful with that. You are only graded on 4 of your best quizzes, two midterms, and a final so make sure you do good on all of them...

Very funny but lectures are really not organized at all. It's not very clear what is important or main topics. SI sessions really helped to organize everything. The course ended up being a lot easier than I thought. His tests match his lectures meaning that I think he knows he's all over the place so he doesn't ask super specific questions.

Hi! Where to begin.. exactly because this class was all over the place. Frisch is an amazing person, but his exams were pretty difficult. As someone who would miss class and was not a Science major it was definitely a different world, but it is very doable! Please go to office HOURS, read BOOK, make study friends & you will probably do great :)

GO TO OFFICE HOURS!! I can't stress that enough. Also do not zone out in this class. Take notes on everything he says and if you don't hav other commitments read the book and take notes on it. This class is so all over the place and the exams were too so good luck. He is greta human being and so funny but this class was unnecessarily hard.

Dr. Frsich is a good professor, but you have to take notes on everything he says. Go to office hours if you have questions. The grade is based on tests and quizzes, and if you go to office hours you may get a few points back if you prove you know the material. Some of his questions are confusing, but overall its an enjoyable class.

Dr. Frisch was very disorganized and lectures were often hard to follow. He is a nice guy and cares about his students, but he just isn't a great professor. Never knew what was important to focus on for tests/quizzes and the wording of the test questions were bizarre and specific. Basically have to memorize everything to get a decent grade.

Funny guy! Makes lectures fun. BUT, he does not lecture well. He is not organized and he jumps around often. The class itself is also poorly planned and we fell behind before the first midterm. Tests and quizzes are multiple choice questions that are VERY specific. I realized quickly that reading the entire text is the KEY.

He's so passionate about the subject and is so hilarious! Very difficult class and keeping up with studying is NECESSARY. So go to office hours and attend the SI's! Both are very helpful. Read the book and make sure to thoroughly study everything in his PowerPoints. Overall, Frisch makes the class fun and makes the subject so interesting.

Read the textbook and study on your own. Lectures aren't really helpful. Not too clear on what's on tests. But, super down to earth and nice guy.

He is AWESOME! He's been more organized this year since he has less classes to take care of! Extremely passionate about his subject and knowledgeable. He's super funny and engaging in all his lectures. You'll need to READ the book and really apply yourself in this class, it's not easy. But he makes it fun. He's very nice & has flexible office hours.

very unorganized, made mistakes on tests/quizzes, wasn't helpful as to what would be on the tests. lectures were scattered and didnt reflect tests at all, and neither did reading the book. BUT frisch is a great guy and a fun professor. the material was just taught poorly in the short amount of time

Unorganized, always makes mistakes on quizzes & exams, requires for you to know EVERY BIT of information in the book and lecture material. Lecture power points are very unorganized. However, he's a great person. Very friendly and hilarious.
