Comment:

He may not be understanding all the time, but he and the class is not bad. Don't be lazy. He will help you if you need it. Grading in itself is not bad, just practice what you learn and put some effort. It is a fun class overall. You need to write a two paragraph journal every class-(ez), do two lesson plans on paper only, and do the skill tests.

Comment:

He doesn't teach that much or that well and his English is pretty bad. If you show up participate a little and do the work he won't grade you harshly. The grade break down is 20% Group Presentation, 40% Field Observation Study, and 40% Final. The field observation is a pain and takes a long time but isn't too hard. Definitely not difficult A.

I have learnt a great deal from Dr. Zeng because of his depth of knowledge and his patient caring demeaoner. He provided us with online material which was a big plus because he saved us from having to pay for textbooks. I enjoyed being in his class and would enthusiastically recommend him to other students.

Thinks he's way more important than he is. All he does is gloat of his achievements and then whine about people being late or not applying themselves. Still going over syllabus with a couple of weeks left. Learn pretty much nothing. Barely speaks english. I don't think he reads anything you hand in though. Just can't stomach staying here.

Zeng will do everything to help you but you must engage with the class, volunteer to do things, and be mindful of bringing your racket and other supplies to class- which is not too much to ask considering that all you have to do outside of class is keep a journal of the class. Took this as a business major needing a 2 credit class.

I took Zeng for DualLifetime sports. I'm only speaking on my behalf of what I thought of him for this class and I can say that you have to participate, or he will run you down and call you out for doing nothing. If he sees you're trying at the sport, he will assist you along the way and will give good tips. He's a nice guy, just hard to understand

Definitely is very cocky about himself and goes off on tangents. Participation is key and take care of any small written assignments he provides and you'll be fine. Be able to deal with a slight condescending attitude and not understanding what he says most of the time because of his thick accent, even attendance was difficult.

horrible professor... if you are in Ex Sci or PE good luck because he is a terrible professor... goes on tangents... he thinks he is more important and accomplished more than he really is... be prepared to just "get through the course" because you will leave having learned nothing...

He is a good professor you just have to pay attention during class and if there is anything you don't understand talk to him after class or send him an email, he always responds quickly to emails. If you put in the effort in, you will receive an exceptional grade at the end of the course i took two classes with Zheng and got two a B+ and A-

Marble mouth! He makes this class soo much more harder than what it really is. How he is qualified to teach this class is beyond me. He gets pissy if you call him Prof. Zeng...no no, it's Dr. Zeng. If he's a doctor, than im a freakin neurosurgeon!

STAY AWAY!! if you canNot a very not instructor if you're not good at the sport. He will berate you in front of the class. Especially if your overweight. Rude Hard to understand. Accent is waaaaaay too thick.

Great professor! Sometimes his accent is hard to understand but keep asking him to repeat himself and he will! He gave few exams and they weren't that hard! He has a passion for badminton and it shows! So just show up, participate and try to do good on his exam and you will do fine!
