The best! There was alot of reading and journal assignments from our field work, however I learned so much in her class. Just follow her rubric and give her exactly what she asks for (in the readings). Highly recommended professor.

Great Professor! There is a lot of work, but you will be better off having her for a professor. Follow the rubric! Come to class prepared so that you are able to participate. She reads greats stories, and did I mention: FOLLOW THE RUBRIC, FOR ALL ASSIGNMENTS!!! Don't let the other bad reviews discourage you from taking her class.

Best Professor in the department. You will be a senior and say wow the only one that taught us anyhtign was Professor Schlesinger. She is also extremely understanding and reads awesome books to the class. Making the book is alot of work, but in the end really fun.

Comment:

There is a lot of work and a lot of writing, but it pays off. Do everything exactly as her rubric says. Also, she gives excellent reviews. Everything she says WILL BE on the midterm/final, so pay close attention. You have to write a children's book, but that was a fun activity. She is very nice and really cares about her students. I recommend.

SOO MUCH WORK, she must think that this is our only class! Journal entries,every week 1-14! Midterm is worth 20points,but she wants you to write a lot!Final,chapters 1-11. Write your own children book.Visit the museum...and the list goes on......What did I learn?To hate ed.classes!

Great Professor. If you are truly interested in education then you will definetely benefit from this course. She does give alot of written work and you are required to go on a class trip as well as write a childrens book. Make sure to keep up from the beginning and you will do well.
