Mr.Service is a great teacher who actually tries to the lesson to the students he curves all the test i did not know one thing and i still got a B so actually study and you will Definetly get an A and he is also boring at times so bring alot of redbull lol

he tries... lol he goes over everything at-least twice but his tests are tricky. i dont think he makes them... but he is not a hard teacher.. doesn't care if your late or anything, he just wants you to listen and pass.

What can I say, his tests are very difficult. Nothing is from the book for the tests. He also does not give back grades, so you have to remember the grade. His lectures make everybody in the class fall asleep as he is incredibly boring. Yes, he does curve tests but when the class average is a 64, whats your hope with a 15 point curve?

It can't get any easier. He grades on a curve and every test I took was over 100%. I think he gave 30 points as a curve on one of the tests. I hate to call him boring so I won't, but wow I'm so happy I took him. I'm hoping he teaches something else I need cause my GPA could use some help :)

Well this guy knows his stuff... He can talk all day if they let him. Very boring though the only reason to show up is for attendance. He is strict with attendance so you have to show up. Curves test a lot. I averaged a D on each test and got a B in the class.

Where to begin? This subject is by far the most BORING of any subject. Professor Service is a great guy, but his tests are extremely difficult. Yes, he curves and everyone end up passing. I finaled with a B but had a "D" average throughout. I did not learn a thing and would rather earn a grade than be given one!

He is a very good professor. He does what he can to make jokes and make the class as painless a possible. Not a whole lot someone can do with this subject to make it interesting. I appreciated his curves and he helps you pass. I highly recommend him.

Very nice guy, sometimes rambles on about random things but it makes it funny. I paid little attention in class and less to the book. Studied 5 minutes before the tests and with his awsome curves never got under 100%, didnt even have to take the final for an A. Im taking him again!

Very nice guy but SO boring! His lectures just talk about whats in the book, word for word. But study the vocal and graphs and you will be alright. He curves the test by a lot. The lowest curve in my class was 18 points, the highest was 22! I never really read or paid attention and got a B so if you study you will get an easy A

Class very challenging but curves alot of test. Your best bet is to study the book and purchase the program that comes with the new macroeconomics 18th edition book;listen to those lectures as well. That helped me out alot along with reading everything. Good teacher, very monotone but would rather a teacher that tells you whats on the test.

I got an A. Curves tests by A LOT! He doesn't hint as to what will be on the tests so you have to just study everything. The one thing i found to be the most helpful is this: TAKE NOTES ON WHAT HE SAYS! really listen to him talk, because it's easier to understand. So show up, takes notes from him (not the book) and you should be good.

He's going to talk through out the whole class but its hard to hear and understand what hes saying. He talks real monotone and has no direction. Ur only way of passing is reading the chapters yourself. The good thing is, HE CURVES all tests! And drops ur lowest grade. And theres one super easy writing assignment..
