Comment:

If you are looking for a class in order to fulfill the creative requirement for BC, take this one. Although there might be a lot of homework, it's really not that hard. You mostly have to hear music and just rate it. No effort at all. There are no midterms and no finals. If you follow all the criteria she gives you, you will have an easy A.

BEST PROFESSOR!!!!! So understanding and especially during this pandemic she took off so many assignments to make the class easier for us. EASY A!!!!

She is a great professor and if you are looking for easy A take her. At first work may seem like too much but they slow down. Overall have fun with this class and remember to do your hw as they are everything in this class.

I loved her online class, although it did get a bit difficult at times(with all the due dates) . However, she would always grade stuff on time and would respond to her emails within minutes. Also, through the way she talked through her emails , she seemed like such a nice and genuine person. Must take!

DO NOT take this professor. I repeat do not take her. Shes horrible. Her work load is too much especially for a music class. What professor you know has four assignments ( two essays and two discussion boards) due on the same day. Every week there is a discussion board and multiple essays due at the ending of the semester.

She is fustrating. She gave me a zero for a group meeting I attended and when I complained she said that it was my fault that I did not remind her to give me a grade. She is ridiculous and needs to go teach at an elementary school. She signed herself up for a class she could not keep up with and I have to suffer because of it.

I had Palmquist for an online class and it was the easiest A that I have ever gotten in my college experience. You'll be split up into online groups and you literally Facetime her once so that she knows what you look. The assignments are super easy and took me less than half an hour to do. The live music performances that you have to see are easy.

This class is a waste of time. She treats us like children. Her assignments are dumb and not clear. This was a hybrid class and she never wants to meet in person. If you have to meet it will be online. She doesn't need to teach at Brooklyn college at all. She needs to work at an elementary school. I thought I would learn about music.

Encourages Learning, I learned to appreciate music theory and how to make music using various apps with this professor. She is very knowledgeable and encourages her students to live and get engaged in the arts.

So, I can say that the class musc 1300 - it is "free" credit class. If you do not want to spend your time for doing homework this class for you. Also, professor does nor carry about attendance. In addition, students do not need any book, everything is online. NO MIDTERM, NO FINAL. In the end of the semester students need to present final project

She is such an easy professor!! You literally do nothing in class, just show up and follow her directions. Homework is minimal and easy. Youll have to go to 2 concerts, write about them and there you theres your A+. Would highly reccomend. DO NOT ASK HER ABOUT YOUR GRADES!!!! I dont know why but she gets so upset and annoyed when you do.

She's super annoying and treats you like children. I mean every class, not just once in a while. If someone is talking, she stops the class to tell them to stop, she claps her hands to get your attention, & she makes you sit in the heat because she thinks the A/C is too loud. Easy class, but you'll suffer in class, & you HAVE to come to pass.

This is not a college level class. I was hoping to gain a rudimentary history of music, or BASIC theory and got neither. Websites with useless applications take the place of lesson plans, but you will still be quizzed on them. Attendance is mandatory.

This class is a waste of my Sunday afternoon. I LOVE music. Worked in the industry and generally have a deep curiosity for music theory and its rich history. This class has us making elementary beats and taking quizzes just for kicks. Not worth it. Would be an easy A if she didn't take points off for showing up late. Like we are children.
