hes a nice guy but he speaks low. it is almost impossible to fail the class you need to get at least 40% to get a C in the class. i rarely showed up and passed. however if you needed help he would try to answer your questions.

hes such a sweet man but talks very low at first i thought i couldn't pay attention because i was sitting in the back so i sat in the front and nope still didn't understand wth he was talking about,doesnt explain anything.doesnt give you guidelines to study off of or anything.just read at home he doesnt take roll.only plus is that he CURVES!

Super boring, but attendance isn't necessary so simply reading on your own and showing up for the tests can easily earn you an A because he curves A LOT. If you don't mind reading on your own, take this class because every lesson is just watching a video. He speaks really soft.

Comments below are veryyy true! He is superr boring! he is a nice guy, but he's too old for the job. He talks very soft! Test are hard! Attendance is NOT mandatory, so you might as well just stay home and read the book yourself to prepare for tests. He shows videos most of the time in class. There is one extra credit that requires you to go to zoo.

Talks slow, dry humor. Ask questions, be curious, it'll wake him, you & class up. Pay attention to his hints & videos, he may go take a coffee break but you'll be tested on them. He is the most interesting teacher I have EVER had! Sure, his teaching method is a bit dry and his monotonous voice does send many of his students off to dreamland... but he really knows his stuff. So pay attention and you'll be fine! I'd marry him if he weren't already :(

I took 3 classes from this teacher. I got an A in 101 and 102. While I was taking his 121 class, I told him I was transferring to UCLA. Suddenly, my papers weren't good and my extra credit didn't help! I got a C! That is the only C I've ever earned at ELAC. In fact, I think he gave me a harder time than most of my UCLA professors! Beware!

Stop whining, open you book and study! If you find that memorizing a few dozen names of ancient primates (ie, Austrelopithecines,Austrelopithecus) is too difficult, then take another class. When you compare the hardcore sciences to this class, you find that actually getting an A in this class is like taking candy from a baby.
