People complain too much!He is strict but it is a hard course.He changed his teaching style so much for our class.He is SO helpful and makes you figure out the problem so that you actually walk away with something. He gives corrections for every test!SO NICE)and we do have enough time for the tests.If you know the material you can actually finish!

He is not the easiest professor but remember this is a college course. You need to devote time outside of class to read the textbook. He is willing to help his students succeed if they are truly making an honest effort to learn. Take advantage of his office hours. He also gives you an opportunity to earn back some points if you bomb a test.

The class was harder than what it should have been. I learned everything from the book. His tests take longer than the time you have for the class. If you found something on your test that was right half the time you will get your points back, half the time he states your being argumentative and won?t talk to you anymore.

The worst teacher I have ever had in my life. I have had him for 3 courses now. Discreet, Calc 3, and matrix algebra. He is a nice guy but he has no idea how to teach. You have to teach yourself. He confuses everyone including himself... Try to avoid taking him if you can. He will ruin your semester and make class harder than it should be.

Dr. Waters actually takes an interest in his students and shows that he wants you to be successful unlike many teachers I've had. Yes, the class is hard, but that is unavoidable because the subject matter he teaches is difficult!! Do all the homework he assigns and put forth an effort and Dr. Waters will be more than happy to help you.

My, my, all this whining. Dr. Waters is teaching a difficult subject that requires intense work and dedication. Listen to what he says, ask questions, and do the homework. If you still don't understand, go see him; he'll explain until you do! So quit whining: you're not in high school anymore!

He is very interested in his students learning the material. He always pauses and ask if there are any questions before moving on and his door is always open if you need help. I suggest if you don't understand, ask the question! It is only yourself you hurt in the end. Also, DO THE HOMEWORK HE ASSIGNS!

I thought about changing my major halfway through my college career and took him for Discrete math. He was one of the worst teachers I have had at the university, he can't explain anything and he just can't teach! But at least this help me figure out math was not my way to go!!!!!

I think he's a great professor. He's good at explaining the material. He will help you if you need it. He's concerned with whether or not you understand the material. I needed a C in PreCal and I put forth a lot of effort then after the exam I was a few points shy of a C but he bumped it up because I showed a lot of effort. He's understanding.

This man is a nice man, but when it comes to teaching, he is the pits. I'd rather put bamboo under my finger nails. I hate his classes, he is always so unclear. Go to him for help, and he is still confusing. He is very willing to help you, but still unclear. I don't think he means to be like that, he just doesn't know how to teach at all.

A really sloppy, unprofessional, just plain BAD teacher (and I do use that term loosely). He is smart, I'll give him that, but brains alone do not a great teacher make. He is very full of himself. Does not plan his lessons well, if at all. Has his favorites and his grading is biased. If you have a choice, I would not recommend him.

He helped me realize that Comp. Sci. was NOT the major for me. He is banned from teaching this class so he does suck. He would brag about what he did in is pro. career but hardly taught. We started with 26 or so and they ended with about no more than 8. So he sucks

He is a very nice person, but he can't teach at all. He is very unclear and he doesn't ever give examples. He moves on whether you know the material or not. He will go over a brand new chapter in the last 5-10 minutes in class and expect you to know it for the quiz the next day.

He is a cool guy, but he is kind of old. He also expects you to learn things, sometimes by yourself. He gives out homework but never checks it... then has the nerve to ask the same questions that are on your homework assignments for your test questions. He also doesn't curve grades. LOL...

"Only 5 minuites left in class? Hmmmm... looks like we have enough time to go over another chapter!" Very common words in his class! He is kind of funny... or not? LOL. Anywho! If you want to learn something then take this class!

He is a very nice but a very bad teacher. He will stay to help you, but he still comes across as confusing. He says if you put forth effort then you cant fail. I went to him all the time and to the tutoring lab all the time and I still failed.
