Comment:

She was our lab instructor for our online labs. She really values folks that participate in class, so speaking up will go a long way with her. Online labs are a tough thing to make engaging, but she did a great job. Was also happy to help with questions from the lecture portion of the class.

Comment:

Took her chem online during pandemic. She is so nice and takes the time to grade work that you dont turn in on time WITH great feedback. She helps you through the labs which the whole class appreciated. Take her course if you get the chance

Comment:

Had her for lab, and while she is really nice, she is an extremely tough grader. She would take off points for the smallest details, even if the answer itself was right. I had to do a lot of studying/work outside of class in order to get an A. She also tends to get off topic a lot during lectures and overcomplicates things.

Comment:

Professor Madeline explains the lesson in depth and gets us involved to insure we are understanding the concepts. She explains other concepts and offers her own experiences in the lesson to give students a clear understanding of what we are doing in lab. No question is of little importance to her . All questions are valid. Great Class!!!

Worst instructor I have ever taken. Shes knowledgeable in chemistry but not so great at teaching it. She is unorganized and isnt very responsive to emails outside of class. Her lectures are all over the place and youll leave class more confused then when you got there. Way too difficult for it being an introductory Chem course. Avoid taking her.

Comment:

The course itself is hard enough, but professor is trying her best for the students to understand this chemistry. This is not the usual chemistry where you will have to calculate formulas, this is more memorization and combining all you learn from the start of class to the end. What students should is study ALL the materials professor hands out.

I only did well because I put in a **TON** of work outside of class. I have friends in the other professors' sections and they had a much better experience. Trust me, take any professor EXCEPT this one!!!!!

Dr. A is a really caring professor and she is very knowledgeble. I admire her efforrt to inspire every student in her class. If you work hard, you will get a good grade. Her lectures are amazing but students have to be attentative, her PTLT session is a must go, and you will be very successful at all 4 exams. Great teacher, respectful!

Her lab work is easy, DONT miss the labs. She doesn't give too much HW but if you can't keep up with the classwork, online HW and quizzes it will feel like too much. She is usually all over the place with lectures, but if you do your work, never skip class, and do decent on tests you'll pass. It was my most stressful course, I'm glad I sucked it up

DO NOT TAKE HER. Dr. A is unorganized, unfocused & confusing. Lectures are rushed & full of too much info, she assigns way too much HW, doesn't lecture on all topics in HW & Quizzes, & she's not helpful in lab. Taking her class felt like taking 3 classes, because of all the assignments & PLTL. PLTL, is a waste of time & money & will stress u out.

very unorganized and lost several assignments throughout the semester. Doesnt explain anything and teaches class as if she is talking to colleagues. does not go in depth about concepts and when asked to, repeats her simple explanation. i can go on but dont have enough characters

DO NOT TAKE HER! She is very unorganized with her lectures and quizzes are nowhere similar to the homework. She thinks everyone has the same knowledge as her. Her workshop is very not helpful. 2.5% xtra credit from attending 10+ workshops wont even be enough to save your grade. Drop while you can!!!!

WORST PROFESSOR EVER! She's knowledgeable about chemistry and it's so easy to her, that she just thinks it'll be easy for students too. Lectures are boring, she skips around so much and crams too much into each lecture. She absolutely SUCKS with emails and will rarely/never respond. Never posts grades and tells you to calculate it yourself

She does not explain in detail. She goes off topic on a regular basis, jump back and forth from the beginning of the chapter to the end of the chapter. She gives lots of extra credits, and awesome practice tests. If you read, study the practice test, and go to tutoring once a week, you will be fine.

Dr. A lectures for herself only half the time I don't know what she is talking about, class is mandatory or you will be lost test are what is on power points their hard so study I wouldn't take her again.However she is nice but when you ask her a question I don't really feel that she truly has the time to help you shell say is that all.
