This was one of my favorite classes at Brooklyn College. Very interesting professor who teaches in a way that is relevant with today's news and issues. If you like social science, poli sci, history, soc,definitely take her. Anyone who didn't like her probably wasn't a very good student.

Excellent professor. Full of knowledge and experience, Contemporary with some spanish authors, she is fun and knows hoe to teach. I recomend to do the readings and research on the web prior lectures.

this is a conversational class. she speaks in spanish only but slowly and clearly so you always understand her. oral midterm and final. some writing but grammar isnt important. she only wants you to be comfortable to speak spanish without worrying about being grammatically correct. very fun prof and class. highly recommended. i got an A-

the summer class was long and boring videos and handouts everyday the only problem is that you dont know what the real answer is cuz she nevers gives you a real answer even though the final comes from the answer sheet you dnt have the right answers would not recomend and would not take again

She ended class early most of the time. Majority of the classes were videos and answer sheets. Her "test" comes straight from the study guide so if you at least glance at the questions in the book, you'll do fine. Can't recall any substance to her lectures, but at least she doesn't test on that.

horrible teacher, the test with multiple choice was easy but the definitions are crazy she took off 3/4 points for not naming the latin american country...shes such a ****! avoid her at all cost!

She really doesn't do anything except operate the DVD player. She is very boring, but I have seen much worse. The class is too easy to get anything less than an A- whether or not you are smart or actually do your work. We answer questions directly from the videos. Her test has the same questions as the study guide. NO excuse to have a bad grade.

REALLY EASY!!! the questions from the test come straight out of the study guide and identify sheets that u get for the videos. No tricks. Word for word is from those. BUT she's VERY boring.

took her in the summer, watched boring movies which were documentaries and not so helpful, she doesn't teach the material well so the final which is one essay to compare and contrast is very difficult.

Very hard, very unhelpful, very unpleasant! She must have thought everyone was born speaking spanish because she would get mad if you didn't understand something in her class! Her tests were hard and she didn't really review for the exams! DON'T TAKE HER! Easy D or Easy F!

This is a conversation Spanish Course. She teaches it very well. She makes the class fun. You talk only in Spanish. She doesn't care whether you speak correct spanish. There are alot of writing assignments and in class exercises. She talks very slow in Spanish so you can understand.

Super nice, super easy, not particularly challenging. Class had a lot of videos, and worksheets that went with the videos, and book that went with the worksheets that went with the videos. Test questions are right out of the book. Her stories are great.
