Comment:

She is unorganized and unskilled when it comes to online courses. I've missed 2 of her zoom classes because she either forgot to tell us about it or scheduled it for the wrong time. She also uses a lot of class time trying to figure out how to use technology. It's frustrating but I don't blame her. She is understanding and her class is an easy A.

Her class is fairly easy but shes very rude, her lectures are so boring she doesnt even have discussions with the class. She just reads off the PowerPoint dont even waste your time.

If I could giver her a ZERO I would. Absolutely the worst professor I have ever had during my entire college career. Her quizzes are absolutely ridiculous and she has you redo assignments that weren't explained correctly to begin with. I would not recommend that anyone take any of her classes unless you want endless frustration.

Boring. Had to purchase a educational program that does all the work for her! Could have taken it online. Went to 3 classes in total because it was so boring, and Im a Psych Major! Avoid.

Would you like to learn about Psychology the way it was taught in the 80s? Then this is the professor for you! Prof. Bonem has not updated her assignments, textbooks, teaching style, or powerpoints since your parents were in school. So if you'd like to learn NOTHING about MODERN psychology and its uses, I would 100% advise taking Prof. Bonem.

Comment:

Dr. Bonem is a great professor, she is easy to approach and understanding. Psy 203 is an easy course. We had an online quiz and assignment every week. Our class ended before finals week and we had an option to take the final quiz in class depending on your attendance and in-class assignments. The lectures were interesting and easy to follow.

HORRIBLE PROFESSOR! Makes you pay $50 for an online textbook with a bunch of glitches and errors. Then the book doesnt even help with the final exam! She is a rude professor, and often times late to class. I DO NOT RECOMMEND HER!!

The class is very easy. Save your money and don't buy the book, it won't be helpful. All the powerpoints are provided on canvas and you get unlimited attempts on all the quizzes. Lectures can get a bit boring but if you're looking for an easy class, this is the one to take.

Comment:

Bonem is chronically late, and her lectures might put you to sleep, but she knows what she's talking about and cares about students' understanding. Easy to get a good grade. Do the project, complete online quizzes (unlimited attempts btw), and participate in your case study group. Don't bother to buy the main text book, just the case studies one.

Lectures were long and dry. A software called 'Globalyceum' was used as a textbook, as well as for homework and exams. Everything was very easy.

She decided to use something called Globalyceum for our class. All of our homework assignments and unit quizzes were online, and if you missed less than 10 points you didn't have to take the final. Her class was a blow off class, I felt like I didn't learn anything. If you just show up to the lectures and keep up with the online homework, you pass.

I would avoid taking her if you can. Her lectures are so dry and slow paced I almost always fell asleep during them. She takes so long to put grades in that you really have no idea how you are doing in the class until the end of the semester. Did not look forward to going to class at all :/

This semester was different for her. She used something called TopHat and she had trouble working it was could be annoying. She wants you to purchase a $90 book which isnt bad if you plan to major in the class.

This was a pretty mediocre class. The lectures were a bit dry, and Dr. Bonem reiterated the main points of the textbook (the textbook is good though). This semester, she also started using an app called Tophat, that tracks attendance and quizzes questions throughout the lecture (this was annoying since she did not really knowing how it worked).

Sure, the lectures weren't always thrilling, but she makes it impossible to fail. She also makes it possible to get 100 percent on the final based on participation/attendance. The text book was online and interactive. If you don't do well or even have to take the final in this class, it's your fault, not the teachers.

She was not always prepared for class. She does not get back to you when you email her, even if it is important (like a final grade). Lectures are boring and long. She lets people in the back use laptops but yells at anyone in the front if they are using them. She constantly gives the wrong grades and changes them last minute.

She is super easy professor! Just a few open quizzes online and 4 assignments to turn in. She does not reply to emails but everything is easy to understand. Show up for class because of the group activities, but I would take again.

Comment:

This is the easiest class I have taken. It is all online, except you have to do at least one in class activity. The second activity is bonus. There is so much extra credit in the class and most people are exempt from the final exam. The actual lecture is super boring. There are no papers and only online quizzes that are 7 questions.
