Extremely helpful 1 on 1 and explains things clearly. Anyone who is actually interested in programming will have no problem. Only the slackers complained and could not keep up with the work. He is always willing to help outside of class if needed.

Brilliant professor. He is highly experienced and 1 on 1 is extremely helpful. He does expect the class to know alot, but you should for Data Structures. He did not grade harshly and gave an immense curve to the dummies failing. Study and see him 1 on 1 and you will be fine as long as you take programming seriously.

Not difficult if you pay attention, possibly easy A. Gives curve and helps with lab. Recommended to attend every class and to study outline for quizzes and do hw, they are so easy. Final can be hard though.

Stay away! He is impossible to understand. He mumbles and expects you to know what to do when he hasn't even taught anything. The other classes were way ahead of ours the entire semester. He put me in a group that didnt want to do anything, I complained and he did nothing to help. But he graded me poorly when I worked very hard to keep up.

Great guy but absolutely not a good professor. This guy can make the simplest thing on earth appear the most difficult challenge. I came out of this class depressed, not knowing abything and feeling discouraged about continuing in CIS.

Professor Kunin is a very hard professor to follow. If you want to take him, you should know the basics very well, because he assumes you know a lot. He is very unclear, only uses the board, and his exams are reall hard. Would never take him again!
