Comment:

The online book and all the corresponding work changed halfway through the first week with no notice or explanation. Never gave notes or explained anything. Had to learn everything from the book myself. When taking the tests online take your time and double check because typos will result in the question being marked wrong and he doesnt review it.

Comment:

I took Prof Zorkot for Calculus 2 online over the summer, the material was very difficult and I spent about 20 hrs a week to keep up, as the spring is an accelerated semester of only 8 weeks. The material is very tough and I learned more on Youtube than from the online E book. The professor gave a lot of partial credit and some extra credit.

Comment:

The course was graded off of 3 exams and a final. He free wrote his notes like he had no sort of preparation before the class. The class had to call him out multiple times to correct his math. Once everything got moved online, his notes he posted were horrible and he made our exams twice as long and twice as hard (took me 4 hours to take one exam!)

This class is a breeze as long as you complete your work. 5-6 Sections a week, with a quiz for each section and a chapter exam at the end of the week. Final exam worth 20% of the grade. A solid choice for an advanced algebra course.

Do not take any classes with this professor. Cannot say anything good about his teaching methods. He doesn't care one way or another whether you study like crazy and fail the class anyway. Save your money, read reviews, and take a quality instructor.

Very Unprofessional. I missed an exam due to his unwillingness to work with me and for that gave me a 0 for my exam and would not let me take the exam again. I went to the dean of students which was no help at all and he sided with the professor. Dropped me a whole letter grade. This professor if you even want to call him that is a joke.

I took him for Linear Algebra and I regret wasting my time attending. Extremely lecture heavy, unorganized, disrespectful towards his students and exams are written with true and false and math problems. Reviews don't assist with the tests and says the same thing when a point is not clear. I recommend only taking him if you understand the material.

I struggled in this class. Prof. Zrokot did not seem to take my education seriously. He seemed like he was there for the paycheck. I asked many questions which he made me feel discouraged for. I even stayed after to try for extra help which I was blown off and was told that I should have been paying attention better in class.

He is a very unprofessional and condescending person. Did not stick to the syllabus and did not replace the lowest exam score like he said he would. I did well in the class but no thanks to him. Take someone else.

GREAT PROFESSOR! TAKE HIM BUT MAKE SURE YOU READ THE MATERIALS. DO YOUR HOMEWORK BEFORE COMING TO THE CLASS AND YOU WILL PASS WITH A. HE HAS LOW HUMOR, BUT CAN BE FUNNY AT SOMEONE POINT. IF ENGLISH IS YOUR FIRST LANGUAGE, YOU PROBABLY HAVE BETTER CHANCE TO PASS HIS CLASS SINCE HE RESPECT THOSE WHO SPEAKS PROPER ENGLISH MORE. READ THE MATERIALS.

I took Pro. Mohamed during the spring's semester, he is truly the best math teacher. My only advice to you, read the materials before coming to class, practice the problems outside the class and you should be good to pass with A. Don't be afraid to ask questions during the class if the materials are confusing, at the end, this is a math class.

Great professor! He clearly is an experts in his subject. I took him in the spring, the class is very condensed, but we were moved fast; only four exams, lowest scored replaced with the final exam grade. If you take him make sure you sit in front, read the materials before coming to class, participate and you should be okay to pass with A.

Professor Zorkort was by far one least helpful professors I have ever had in a class. Professor Zorkort; did not follow the syllabus, did not answer questions in class ( In fact he responded to my questions that I need to "learn how to read"), did not keep pace for teaching material, and did not make a final exam review. Choose another professor!

Do not waste your time taking this class.. gives no clear instructions on what tests are on.. also the teacher ended up losing my homework and told me at the last day of class... there are only 4 assignments that he gives..

The only complaint that I have about him is that his grading criteria for the forum posts was rather unclear. Marked me down on several post and wouldn't explain why. However, the forum wasn't a huge percentage of the final grade so I still walked away with an A. Coursework was easy, but it was time consuming.
