One thing I can say she is a tough grader! She does assign a ton of work but I felt that it was all doable. The group project is annoying because I ended up with lazy group members but I honestly didnt care because professor Gardberg makes her lectures interesting. She really cares and treats everyone as individuals. great person! Great professor

Comment:

Not terrible, but not good either. Her lectures are of no use if you know how to properly utilize your textbook. A huge amount of group work, boring case studies and other tasks she is so obsessed about. Very nitpicky grader, make sure you follow every guideline she requires (despite some of them being too strict for absolutely no reason)

i don't understand the string of negative reviews. she is actually phenomenal. pay attention during lectures (which are super insightful), read the cases, submit assignments on time, email her for help/attend office hours if you need it. she's a FAIR grader, her rubrics are clear as day. this was a hard semester for her, but she pulled through.

Please DO NOT take this class AT ALL , this professor is horrible, a lot of assignments, she is not organized which makes it difficult for the students to keep up with the homework, tons of quizzes, TOUGH GRADER, she would deduct point for everything!! her way of teaching is really bad. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE one of the worst professors i've taken.

She knows exactly what she's talking about and is the kindest professor I've met. 2 exams, a cumulative final, 3 individual case assignments (1-2 pages each) and a group assignment. READ THE TEXTBOOK BEFORE DOING THE CASES OR GROUP PROJECT! Must use concepts from class and textbook for full credit. Study her practice exams before every test!

Prof Gardberg is nice. We had about 4 case studies, 2 exams and 1 midterm, 1 huge group presentation. She is very knowledgeable and enthusiastic, however, her lectures are too long. You have to read the book on your own to be able to do well on the exams. She is a though grader as well

After the first day i considered dropping this class because of how hard i thought it would be. Thank God i didn't. The class requires a decent amount of work but the prof. is amazingly nice and helpful. Make sure you get a good group for the MNE assignment. Tests are easy MC. One of the better classes i have taken, learned alot.

Not an easy class; there's a lot to do but aren't too difficult. She's very sweet, helpful and easily approachable. Two midterms (SA & MC) and a cumulative final. Final was all MCs but majority of them based on previous tests. Also there's a big MNE crisis projects including blog posts. Work hard and she'll give you an A :]

Very intelligent Professor and very enthusiastic and upbeat. She makes you work for your grade (I haven't received mine yet) 3 cases (drops lowest), midterm, and no final (group presentation instead), contribute in class and she'll love you also make sure you pick the right group and right company! Learned a lot definitely worth your time!

She's absolutely incredible. She's passionate about the subject and everything is so interesting. She's one of the best professors I've ever had at Baruch. She's not easy, she's not hard, you WILL learn from her. TAKE THIS CLASS - WORTH IT!
