The class was generally easy, but there was a lot of reading and a quiz for all sections read. We would discuss what the chapters were about, but he would go off track and go off topic. He's a nice guy in general, but its extremely difficult to get an A in his class. no matter how many times I revised my papers, I never got higher than a B.

Pani is a nice guy. His jokes are pretty funny if you can understand them over his thick Indian accent. Im pretty sure I didnt actually learn anything about India while I was in his class. We read a book, take a test, then he has a rant about something not mentioned in the reading, and repeat. Then he makes essays for you because he wants to.

Decent guy but worst professor of my entire college experience. Got a 3.7 but he ruined my 4.0 GPA in my last semester. Nobody got a 4.0 so that should say something. Told students that most complain and rate him poorly, so he just doesn't care. He makes mistakes quite a bit in class, which affects his credibility.

Pani is a nice guy and goes off on funny tangents in his lectures. Overall however, he did not do a very good job at explaining the material and it left me struggling most of the time. Beware his grading scale is not the usual. A 90% in the class will not earn you an A-.

Pani is a blast! Once you get used to his accent, you'll realize he's hysterical and actually very well-connected and helpful. He knows pretty much every professor on campus and is genuinely interested in all his students. Incredible India is the best FYS!

Do NOT take a computer course from him. He is a jerk, will not directly answer questions, he does not actually teach, disrespects students, and is useless when you need help. He is the worst professor I have encountered at Redlands, and I can't believe he is tenured faculty, let alone the department chair.

Pani is a complete jokester. He loves to go off tangents which you can barely understand. The reading hw he assigns never gets discussed in class. His lectures are totally random so it's useless to take notes, so dont bother. Pani is a great guy overall & the Incredible India class was a blast.

He swears all the time and makes crude jokes. Not one class will go by without him swearing at least 2 time, usually more. Otherwise, he's nice enough. He doesn't really listen to what you say.
