Spencer is the best professor, he is truly so kind and caring. He wants to see you succeed and will help you. I struggled with quizzes and would not answer 2 questions and he would give me the chance to study and retake the quiz. He makes class so entertaining !!!! truly an amazing teacher !!! He made me so excited to become a teacher

Comment:

Spencer is an amazing professor who really does care about his students. The work load was not difficult, you will have to write a few papers here and there. As long as you put forward your participation, it won't be hard to make an A in this class. Just do your work!

Dr. Garrard is an exceptional teacher. He's been teaching for 30 some odd years now and really knows what he's talking about. Gives great feedback and really takes time to get to know you as a person, and is really a teacher that models what you should do when you start teaching. Would recommend and take again.

I will NEVER take this class again. Garrad talks about things that have nothing to do with topics that are supposed to be discussed. He thinks he knows everything and when you ask a question he cuts you off! I took him at 9:30am and I was not in the mood for his antics that early! He is too much!

Spencer (yes , he goes by his first name) is the most incredible teacher CSU has to offer, hands down. He truly cares about each and every student, which is hard to come by these days. He enjoys telling stories, reading to the class, and getting to communicate with each student. Be sure to study for every test, though - no open notes!

Very charismatic and helpful professor. Great teacher but the course (EDUC2110) is a little confusing. Exams are the same as the study guide (usually verbatim) but most of the material won't be covered in class. Overall an easy course but I would have prefered it to be a little more structured.

We hardly did any work in this class, and honestly, I don't really feel like we learned anything. We presented three times for about 3 minutes each time. Then there are three tests that are the EXACT SAME as the study guide he hands out. He also gives bonus questions on the tests to raise your grade. It is an extremely easy class.

Comment:

Prof. Garrard is different from most professors. He has a great demeanor and is more energetic than most. Get stuck on an assignment, let him know and he tells you that he will help you. In his class you get information you need & will use for your teaching career, no "fluff." Be a little early to class because he starts on the dot.

Garrad is amazing, he goes by his first name and really enjoys getting down to the students level. Do your work and you will pass! He is fair and dedicated to his students. He also reads children literature at beginning of the class which is good to pay attention to!

Dr. Garrard is an awesome teacher. He is one of the best education professors I've had so far. If you have to take 2110 take him! His quizzes are very easy! make sure you get the book because that's where the answers for the quiz come from. I really enjoyed his class. He made an 8:00 A.M. class worth coming to every other day.

I am now a junior and out of all of the classes I've taken so far, Spencer is the BEST professor I have ever had at CSU! His sense of humor is wonderful, he starts every class with a short story and he is very welcoming towards all of his students. Easy A and fun course! Take this class!!! You won't regret it!!

Good teacher!Easy class,the book isn't use in class, but is very handy for test. He gives a study guide for each test, and that IS THE TEST,so DO the study guide. The test is ALL free response, but don't freak out. If you do the study guide you will be just fine.He's a good teacher who is there if you have any questions. EASY A!If you do your part.

Great teacher! Very helpful and loves his students and teaching. Doesnt use the textbook much, but does come in handy when taking tests. Gives the exact text to sudy so there's no way to fail them. Sometimes the grading for in class projects seem unfair, but overall he's amazing!
