She is a fun teacher. Not textbooks needed since her test are based on lectures only. She talk really fast to try and get you out of there as soon as possible. Be warned, she tend to cuss here an there. No midterms or finals, just two test, two book you have to read and compare the two in a writing assignment, and 2 movie questions.

She is a great professor. You have 2 exams they are 50 ques. multiple choice. You watch two movies and fill out questions and turn them in. You also read to books and write a short paper about them. You do not need to buy the book. The only thing is she talks fast so be ready to write.

as a teacher, she knows her stuff. if you're good at history, you'll enjoy having her. you MUST study otherwise. it's a very nice casual atmosphere in class, but you'll be scribbling notes anyway. bonus is she gives an outline ahead of class that you can follow. sadly, you won't be able to get full grade if you can't reference everything you're supposed to have read in your two test essays. to new students: warning: don't be alarmed when foul language begins.

Her grading is not always based on your knowledge of history. Often she gives information inconsistant with the textbook. In fact some info she gave was wrong.She is moody. If you don't like the results of your first test, Don't be a fool, drop her. I'm forwarning you and I got an A.

These people are not telling the truth!!! She talks very fast, and sure she doesnt use all of the class time, but you need that class time because her ESSAY test are based on them. If you get a C or below on the first test you might as well drop the class. Don't hurt your gpa, by taking her. She has constant mood swings....Just don't take her.

I changed my major to history because of this woman! This gal knows her stuff, and expects you to learn it. It's a tough class, you HAVE to study, but it's well worth it. Klein is a GREAT instructor, I'd take another class from her in a new york minute.

She's a great teacher, I'd def. take her again. All tests are essays, but she tells you about them beforehand. She likes history, and made it interesting. Good sense of humor too. If you pay attention, it's a good class.
