Fun class!!!Steve is an awesome professor. He is knowledgeable, easy to talk to and he cares a lot about our safety so if you take this course, you MUST get 100% cotton denim. Also, if you have long hair, tie it up. We learned about diff metal artists, tools and welding techniques. Need help?Just ask him, really helpful. There is HW but it's easy.

Steve's great! He guides rather than dictates, which is a skill certain professors in Art lack. He allows you freedom of expression and to experiment, but also pushes you to be more thoughtful about your work. He's strict with safety and shop maintenance. Take this class and don't give up! You'll learn metal work alongside developing character.

Prof keltner is an amazing professor. He teaches you how to use the tools even though it may seem intimidating at first, you soon get used to it. Once you are in the groove of things you will have fun.

Prof. Keltner is a fantastic sculpture instructor. He cares about his students' growth and I learned A LOT in his class. You will have to work for your grade, but you will not only learn welding techniques and composition, but also the history of metal sculpture.

Prof Keltner is one of the best Sculpture instructors at BC. He loves what he does and wants his students to succeed. He is encouraging and wants you to "Be Happy, Make Art". Creativity and inspiration are what he wants you to develop. He is knowledgeable about Metal Sculpture and can made a difficult course enjoyable.
