Comment:

Dr Woodward is a true professional, if you are not serious about learning I would not recommend having her as a professor. She engages all of her students, expects them to do their best, and she encourages participation in research and during class. She is a gem and I am thankful to have had her for many classes and during a research trip.

This was by far my worst professor at Radford. I love Geography and took enough Geography to have a minor in it. I came to every class, did my reading, research, etc. I received an A in every other Geography class in my college career. She gave me a D in VA Geography. Crazy since I know the state inside and out, being a 20 year resident.

Very intelligent woman...knows anything and everything about South America that you could possibly want to know...BUT she expects everyone to know as much as she does...I worked very hard in this class and still got a D...This class went wayyy in depth with the details of everything in SA...GOOD LUCK to those who dare to take her class!

A bitter old hag that single handedly made me change my major after taking her class. Avoid her at all costs, shes boring, her tests are insanse, and she is a tough grader. I've never met anyone in real life that passed her course with anything higher than a D. I should've withdrawn but I tried to work through it and got an F anyways. Avoid her!!!!

Class is realatively easy if you come to class and do homework assignments. Test are kinda of diffcult because of the format..half m/c, half short answer or essay. Would take a class with her again. BTW she loves maps and drawings...will come out of her class being an artist. LOL

I am in her class this semester and I love her! You just need to apply yourself to the class and take the time to do the readings and homework. If you are having any problems she will be happy to help! Woodward is really nice and you just have to make an effort to understand her. I will be taking her again next semester.

Put a lot of time and effort into her homework assignments. Having a really high grade in that will help how horrible your test average is. The tests are half multiple choice, half short answer/essay and all that. She takes off points on the writing part of your tests and doesn't explain why. I got C's on all my tests but ended up with a B.

I took her class last year, omg, such a bad teacher. Boring, and difficult. Puts stuff on the exam we didn't go over in class. Hardest professor i've had at Radford. It was my major, and taking her intro class made me decide to switch majors. I ended up getting an F in the class, even while trying!! AVOID TAKING HER CLASSES IF AT ALL POSSIBLE!!!!

She is so unhelpful. There were many things she could have done to help her students, but she has no mercy, so she didn't. Do not take her unless you want for your GPA to be killed. I'm a junior and I had a 4.0 before taking her, but I'm expecting a C in this class. Work hard and you'll still fail.
