Comment:
Dr. Foster really knows his stuff. even though he isnt great responding to students or communicating with students, his lectures are very straightforward and clear. his grading system also allows for you not to turn in some homeworks or miss some questions on the tests and still get an a. He really is a nice guy and a great teacher.

i cant understand a word he says in class. i cant understand a word he puts on the board. completely lost! but im sure if he could speak louder and wrote legibly, then the class would not be difficult.

I would not recommend taking this class. He is difficult to understand and the tests are hard. Nice guy but he teaches things that are not appropriate for a 100 level course.

Dr. Foster is a good professor. He will only go over a few subjects all semester which makes tests really easy, plus as a bonus he gives you a review that he will make the test from. Easy A and learned a little since the class moved so slow.

Fair grading system. But if you start to fall behind in class, you're in trouble. You just need to go to class, pay attention, do your homework, and you'll get an A. When you start not doing one of those, your grade WILL slip.

Dr. Foster's class was good and bad... I could not understand what he was saying some of the time, and no one could read what he wrote on the board. He is very nice, and an easy grader, and only takes attendance a few times. There is not a lot of homework either.

I really like this guy, he is great at explaining complex material. Not a lot of pressure in this class because I don't think he puts much value in "grading" students but you still need to attend class and pay attention to the lecture.

Took over the summer. Very easy class. Let out early every day. Little to no homework each week. Always let you know what was on the test. Easy A.

foster is kinda intimidating. he will come to class 5 mins late, end 5-10 mins early, take a whole week to talk about something that will not be covered in a quiz, or a whole class to talk about where we are in the course. he is very smart, and very effective at teaching a difficult subject. fair grading system. work hard and you will be fine.

Dr. Foster has a way of streching the mind of his students. He is definitly partly insane, but he still is the man.

Dr. Foster's teaching method is great. He doesn't spoon-feed, but he does give enough information for you to follow along. Its a tough class but the way he teaches makes it a little easier.

Great approach to a difficult subject. Symbolic logic is like a foreign language, and he teaches it well. He's flaky sometimes (I was TA, and he's hard to work for), but good overall.

The subject is just a difficult one, but I've taken it with another professor as well, (Eflin) and Foster is way better. I wish he was more approachable, but when you get the courage to ask for help, you'll get it.

The subject matter that Dr. Foster teaches isn't easy. The way that he does it, however, is the most painless way imaginable. In other words, he's good at what he does.
