Comment:
Herr Crow does his best with what he has. His classes are very structured, but he goes too slow at some points and rushes past things at other points. His tests are very easy so long as you attend class and put in a little time working on the material outside of class. Purchase a german dictionary, it will help out.

Porfesor Crow is essentially a German language prof, and from what I have heard is great at that. While he speak Spanish well, teaching it is another thing. But he did the best he could with what he had and for that I give him a good rating.

His classes are a little slow but he's still very knowledgeable and as long as you pay attention the tests are a breeze

Tim is a good and decent professor. Some people complained about how slow the class was...well it was kind of slow but I am not good with languages so that was good. I missed a lot of class but still was allowed to make up work and still got an A. He can come off as a little rude, but hes not. Hes very understanding and helpful. The book stinks

I don't get why people don't like him. He was always very nice to me and answered my questions. He might come across and somewhat harsh but if you joke with him he opens up. He taught the material well, the tests were straight-forward, and there was just enough homework to keep things interesting consistently.

Dr Crow is very kind, but the pace of his classes are sooo slow. I could learn on my own in a week what little we have managed to cover all semester. He also seems very outdated in his information about German customs and beliefs.

My grade is for the core of this class which is the textbook (Kontakte). It is the worst German text I've ever used and confusing from the first chapter. It using guessing games instead of word lists and you are often asked to know the german equivilant of a word which was NEVER introduced. Avoid this class til the book is changed- at all costs!

Dr. Crow is a caring man who has an affinity for his students. Many people do not understand his teaching style at first, but in upper division courses he is friendly and approachable and listens to students' opinions. He is highly understanding when I am having a problem in the class. Get to know him and you will change your mind.

Crow is not a very good teacher concerning Spanish at least. There were no fun or creative activities. He taught directly from the textbook and had variable mood changes throughout one class period, from joking around to being irritated that students are not understanding material.
