I regret not checking this site prior to taking this idiot class. HORRIBLE! Courses are very expensive, you will regret it. Dixon is miserable and has issues, so he takes his frustrations out on his students. Avoid the stress and headaches!

He is wonderful. However, he does not tolerate childish or ignorant behavior, nor will he baby you. Since you're in college, he shouldn't have to. He's very smart, and you will learn from his class!

There is no way of avoiding this teacher because....HE IS THE ONLY ONE WHO TEACHES THIS SUBJECT...so now that you've taken that in...here are some pointers...hes not easy but he's not hard. Most of the semester you'll be in this love/hate situation with him. Sometimes he had be rude...sometimes he can be funny...it all depends on his mood that day.

If you are a history major, RUN. Prof caters ONLY to the law students in the class. Everything is geared towards law, rather than HISTORY. If It wanted to take Constitutional LAW I would have.
