He can come off as harsh, but he is a really good teacher. He is passionate about teaching history. You will want to show up for class and take notes. He is awesome for wanting to help you get the grade you need at the end of the semester.

He is a lecture teacher so be prepared to write notes! His grades go off 4 test grades only and he gives you a guide line sheet that tells you what you need to study. If you like history this is the teacher for you but if you struggle be prepared to study. He does use the book for terms he does test on. Great teacher!

The best teacher I've ever had. Kept me interested. You don't have to go to class but if you don't you miss out on a lot of notes. Everything on the study guide he says in class. Study for each test and you'll pass with an A. Only thing that sucks is you can't use your phone lol

He strict, but a great teacher. He expects you to behave as an adult and an adult who wants to succeed. Not an easy class, but he gives you lots of resources and wants you to succeed. If you work hard, study hard, do the reading, and come to class, you should do very well!

yes there were 4 test but I had to teach myself. when it came down to the test.I studied everything on the study guide and still failed.he offered a chat but when you asked a question he would state read the page on the study guide.I did pass barely but if I could warn or help someone please dont take this class you will be disappointed. no choice.

He was a great professor. Class isn't mandatory, but if you miss class you miss a lot of notes and is hard to catch up. YOU are responsible for reading the textbook,but if you show interest in history he will see that. Be ready to earn your grade. 4 tests for the entire semester, no homework or extra credit. I would take him again.

I did not have a good experience in this class. I found it difficult to understand what he wanted us to know and had no clue what points we needed to study. On one of the tests I studied for I studied all the wrong point because of how unclear it was. I have tried to contact him throughout the class and have had neither a return call or one email.

Is an excellent teacher. He gives both side of the story and lets you develop your own understanding of the topic. No extra credit though! 400 points total, all from tests. Show up and study and you'll make atleast a B, be sure to have the book(he is a co-author). I asked him if he offered any more classes beause I wanted to take him again!

This was the most hardest class I have ever taken!The professor was not as helpful!I took this class online and that was the bad thing!He is very strict and not understanding!I really had a hard time learning the material!He doesn't response to email in a timely manner and it seems as if he doesn't answer to many questions!Old teaching style:(

Online class was not as bad as its made out to be on here. He won't baby you but this is a college level class! He gives you the terms and essays that will be on the test, if you spend a fair amount of time reading the text you should be able to pass them easily. No other assignments except a participation grade so no excuse for not studying enough

The reviews on here had me a little nervous about his taking this course online but it was not bad. No, he won't hold your hand and baby you, but this is a college level class! He gives you the terms & essays that will be on the test, as long as you do a fair amount of studying they should be very easy to pass. Very knowledgeable about the subject.

Class isn't mandatory, but extremely helpful. His lectures are extremely engaging and making absorbing the information very easy. Often repeats things that ends up on tests several times to make memorizing easier. I would definitely take more of his classes.
