Miller is the reason I have such a strong work ethic. As a former student now living and working in the real world, I can tell you that his strong exterior is what you will find most often in the workplace. He is preparing you for so much, you just may not know it yet. Learn from him and ask him questions, he is a wise professor.

If you're one of those kids who "hates Miller," you're probably the type of person who blames other people for your own misfortunes. Miller's the best. His classes aren't that easy, but you learn so much and he makes classes fun, if you choose to engage. Just do the readings and have a good attitude in class. He's easily my favorite prof.

First he seems really scary and strict. But towards the end he softens up somewhat. He wants you to pass his class. You really need to show effort. Participate in class, do the readings, and form study groups and you should be fine. His essays and test are hard. He taught me a a lot and bettered me as a student, its a love/hate relationship.

Not only that he is rude and unhelpful. He also hard grader. It seems that he is all about failing his students. Not available during office hours and never answer questions. A university like Marymount should review him!! He is also not using the new portal which every student and professor are using, Canvas. He disrespected me and made me cry.

Took him for American Govt. Very clear about grading, assignments. There are a lot of quizzes but he gives you a good idea of what to study for. Lots of quizexam questions are from book in addition to lecture. Has experience on Capitol Hill so he can relate a lot to the class. Would recommend.

Really knowledgeable professor, has funny tidbits that go along with lesson/lecture. Read the material as quizzes/exams are very much based on that material as well as other reading material he hands out in class. He is flexible if you are late and will answer all of your questions. Would recommend him as a professor.

READ THE ASSIGNMENTS they will be on the test. Ask him to explain something if you don't understand him. He is approachable and knowledgable but he won't give you the grade you need to earn it.

Dr. Miller is AWESOME! He's very intelligent and explains things about philosophers and religious readings that you would never have thought before. Don't come up with excuses about your absences, you're allowed two for whatever reason. Read his website. And always, ALWAYS do the readings or you WILL get screwed. Overall, tough, but awesome guy!

Professor Miller is brilliant. He explains the material and will answer even the most off topic questions. He is a great professor and if you listen to him, you will learn. His test ARE NOT EASY. He expects precision and analysis. If you are to take this class, be PREPARED for the hypotheticals. And this is coming from an A student who works hard.

I had conlaw, intl law, concepts 1 and 2 with Dr. Miller. He's very helpful, I've never seen him be unhelpful to anyone and if you actually do the readings it will really change your perspective on life. His tests are only hard before you get the hang of it, once you do you'll do better in other classes b/c you learn to think logically.

He requires a lot of reading for an intro class! Two books plus outside reading. Tests are very hard. Not helpful at all. Not at office hours and very rude responses to emails. Even coming out with a B, I would never take another class with him again.

Dr. Miller is the smartest man I have ever met. His class is tough.Go to class and read and you'll pass. Its not hard, unless you don't read or study,Its just a lot of work. His papers are one page in length and he's extremely fair. His tests are essay, but get with a good study group and you'll be fine. Go to office hours if you need help.
