good guy, nice and approachable. attendance isn't mandatory but his notes are hand-written and he doesn't post much on moodle. go to class and listen and you'll do fine. i recommend to see him during his office hours if you want feedback on midterms/assignment because he's quite a slow grader

I found he was a really good teacher, the only thing is that he is very disorganized and you have to basically ask him to grade your midterm. Even though, he says that if you attend his class you will ace it dont get fooled you still need to study!! His midterm and final are basically what he teaches in class.

One of the worst professors I have ever taken at Concordia. He's very sweet and caring and makes an effort to learn everyone's names. However, he's very disorganized and never in his office. He shows up to class without even knowing what he's going to teach that day. Moreover, don't expect to get any grades back (our finals were late too)

He is a fantastic teacher however, he goes through the lectures too fast. You literally have to write extremely fast. He doesn't write down the whole question on the board, so when you go through your notes to revise, it can be slightly confusing. Also, he's a bit disorganized. Just study hard, go to class and you will do good.

He was an amazing prof! He hand writes all his lectures on the board. If you just study from what he teaches in class and do the assignments, you can easily do well in the course.

super friendly teacher, who gets to know his students by name (which is awesome), and his exams are straight-forward and similar to the assignments. he's also very helpful 1-on-1 during office hours. his only negative is that he is quite disorganized and all over the place at times. if you can get over that though, you can do well. labs are hard

Nicest guy EVER. Know your stuff, read the text book AND go to class and you will do great. His exams are practical, no need for intense break your back studying if you simply understand and practice what he tells you to. If you struggle with this class, then chem might not be for you.

One word... SLACKER. He skips class aloooot and did not cover everything in the course outline. He just teaches what you need for his exam. I feel cheated by him. He makes me feel like I paid to have good grades but not really learn. His lectures are very casual. He gives the same exams and exercises and notes year after year.

Mr. Gelinas is an amazing teacher! Amazing sense of humor and enjoys teaching. Whatever we learn in class is what he will put in his exams, however sometimes he goes through the material very fast, thus the textbook is very useful! He is very deorganized but you can still manage to have a good grade if you the assign problems! Great teacher!

Definitly one of the better profs. He's a little disorganized, but other than that he's quite good. Makes a real effort to explain "why" we do something, which is often lacking with many profs. All in all, great guy.

This prof was extremely scattered. Knew the material himself but didn't know how to teach it to others... and exams were based on what he expected you to know. Gave us only 3 practice sets all semester. Easy marker but only because everyone does poorly.
