Comment:
Although his grading is a little unconventional, Professor Mariante is excellent. He expects you to put in an honest effort (like every college course entails) and as long as you complete the readings and show up to class, you will do fine. I would highly recommend him.

I am currently writing this review in his class. He is awful, rambling the entire time during the class hours, seemingly without a lesson plan or any guideline at all. He needs to retire and call it a career, if you value your sanity do not take this course

A pretty decent teacher - Though he assigns reading every night, it's very straight forward information. I barely read, and got an A on all tests. His lectures can be a bit long and drab, but the information he teaches is very interesting and informative. Also, he shows very old films - other than that, he's alright.

Don't take him if you can help it. He is so hard to listen to. He stutters and stammers and he talks to you like your life revolves around sociology. His tests are next to impossible. He gives lots of reading assignments and homework. His class is very boring.

Great guy, tests are fair and from what he tells you to study and class lectures. Lectures take up the entire class though and kind of go on from time to time.
